she is 3 months old, and my Aunt keeps saying "haven't you started that baby on solid foods yet?". I think its a bit early yet, and she is doing fine on formula and breast milk.

I have a new son 10 days old now and thinking about getting him circumcised before it to late to get it done, but I've heard some horror stories about it and hesitant to commit. My friends all had ther boys done and says its no big deal and is better to have it done and that I'll be sorry if I don't.
She says that they numb it nowdays and they don't feel a thing.

I need some experienced moms advice on this. Is it done different nowdays?
My mom told me yes, its better to have it done, that my brothers were done but that was a long time ago.

i have alot to do oin a day, even though i am a stay-at-home-mom.

i'm worried im not spending enough baby and me time. Is there a recommened amount of time for playing with your child. (She is just about 5 months)
i do try to play with her when i can, and i always play with her at least 2 times a day, but i dont want to be neglecting something she mightneed more of.

I let her play on the floor with toys and i let her play in her Jumping-Jack.
Do any Mothers have any advice for me? Perhaps ways i can include the baby into more of my daily chores?

My 6 month old baby started Gerber fruits & vegetables about 3 weeks ago. I'm just curious as to how other mothers are including fruits & vegetables into their baby's menu.

Yes I was wondering can anybody tell me what the effects would be if you gave beer directly to a 7 month y/o newborn who was 2 months premature?

I'm not talking about the mother drinking and then breast feeding. I'm talking about the mother putting the can of beer to the infants mouth and letting the infant drink a couple swallows of beer.

I don't know what effects beer could have on a newborn at 7 months who was 2 months premature. I'm afraid that it could cause a lot of damage. Can anybody show me what the effects could/would be and give websites that talk about this.

Only serious answer please.

So don't assume anything. I am not the one giving beer to anyone.

Second It's a friend of mine who just had her baby is doing this and its desturbing the crap out of me.

This is why I asked this question.

If none of you want to answer my question to help me understand what the effects are then don't answer.

Do not sugguest calling CSS or anything something.

My husband and I think differently. I am breastfeeding and she has made her own schedule for the time being. I find nothing wrong with it since I am the primary caregiver. She goes to bed at 8pm - and wakes every 4 hours or so until 7am then she's up for awhile. He thinks we should be dictating everything. I disagree totally!!! Please help me show me.

I am not asking to debate the merits of real or fake milk. I want to know what drives the assumption. For instance in the "how much does a baby cost" question, people just assumed that the woman would feed her baby artificial breastmilk substitute instead of the real thing. Why?

Don't get me wrong, I know you are to NEVER let a baby sleep on his/her tummy, but he sleeps better that way. He's six weeks old and while he's on his tummy, he has his head turned to the side. Might I add that he can lift his head on his own and turn from side to side on his own . I swear this kid's been here before! LOL! Is it safe to let him nap on his tummy since he can move his head on his own??

I am 5 months pregnant with twin boys. My husband and I are having a delima on where they should sleep when they are born. I personally want them to sleep together, at least for the first few months but I read that two babies should never sleep together, and that it is a cause of S.I.D.S. That is somthing that really worries me so I of course do not want to raise the risk.

I do still think that they should be together though, after all when they where born will have spent 9 months together all the time.

If I do have them sleep together the first few months once they hit 3 or 4 months I plan to move them to seprate cribs in there nursery.

I just dont know what to do. I want whats best for my boys. There my first born so I'm pretty paranoid about everything.

I need ideas and sugestions from other moms or dads or twins.

Thanks

Ok so my son is 4 1/2 months old and I just cant get over the fact that SIDS could happen. I check on him constantly and I even wake up in the middle of the night freaking out that he might not be breathing and I rush into his room to check on him. This is really starting to drive me insane. Please tell me something that will make me feel a little better and a little less crazy when it comes to this!
