I used one for all three of my children, and I think they are great! You can also use a dishwasher, in the baby dept of Wal-Mart, Target etc. you can purchase a plastic basket that will hold the nipples, rings and sippy cup parts and baby spoons and that works good too, when my children were little I didn't have a dishwasher, so I had to use a sterilizer.
Good Luck

I have one and I HATED it. I ended up just getting the basket for the dishwasher and washing my son's bottles in there. The nipples go in the top of the basket and the rings, lids and pacifiers can go in the bottom and you put them on the top rack. All dishwasher detergents have chlorine in them so they will be sterile.
