My daughter is 3 weeks tomorrow and loves her boppy pillow, is it safe to let her sleep in it at night?

How old was your baby when s/he stopped liking to be swaddled? My son is 3.5 months and I swear the swaddling is what keeps him asleep at night. But he will grow out of it (never seen a 19yr old still swaddled at night!) How did your little one communicate that s/he didn't like swaddling anymore? I've heard most kids grow out of it by now, but I know a 6 month old who still likes it...

How do you pronounce the name 'Celeste'? My sister is considering naming her baby this. Are there any middle names it goes well with.
Sorry about putting it here. I'm new and I couldn't think of anywhere else to put it.

My son was born 8 weeks ago and weighed 6.1lb. He now weighs 14lb! He is breast fed with a bottle of formula at night and a little in the evening if he is still hungry after draining me!
Has anyone else had a child gain weight like this? I don't want to create a monster!! Incidentally he has only been having a bottle(s) for around 10 days, and his weight gain was rapid on just breast milk.

I am a grand aunt and have temp guardianship by the (parent) not the court of her 15mo old. Due to the state nor federal gov being involved I do not qualify for help with CCC. Unless it is an open case with DCF or I get realtive caregiver income. I want the 15 mo to play at a daycare with others. However, my budget has no room for $155.00 tuition a week. I would even be glad to be there when he plays. The father is ordered to pay chid support but dosen't. The mother just started a career in law enforcement and has not the extra income nor the availability for daycare or medical. Medical I am able to get for him through Medipass. Somewhere he should be able to play with other 15mo olds.

wakes up, and the only way to make her go back to sleep is giving her a pacifier. Then, about 4am, she'll wake up, and after that, every 30 minutes, i get up every time and give her the pacifier, but I'm worried that something else is wrong... She already has 2 teeth out, and it looks like she has more coming out, could that be the reason? Or perhaps a growth spurt is making her hungry? if so, should i feed her? i mean, the pediatrician told me not to feed her at night anymore, but what if that's causing harm? He's the doctor, but I want to her a opinions from parents! Thanks!

I have a five month old son and can't lose my pregnancy weight. I'm still exclusively breastfeeding, but it doesn't seem to be helping with the weight part. I only gained 25 pounds when I was pregnant and right after, I dropped the 25 pounds within 5 weeks -- I have now gained them back. I feel like I'm starving all the time, but I'm trying REALLY hard not to snack too much and just eat regular meals. I play softball and tennis several nights a week. It's gotten so bad and embarassing because my husband thinks (and says) I'm disgusting. I don't know how to lose this weight -- I can't "diet" because of breastfeeding and I don't have anymore time than I'm already dedicating to exercise. I've been so depressed that last month my dr gave me an rx for zoloft, but I've also heard that can cause weight gain so I haven't started taking it. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

My 5 month old is in daycare from 7 to 2pm. He sleeps 2 half hour naps when he is there. Then, he won't take a nap for us until 5pm, and only sleeps 45 minutes. At night, he sleeps from 8/8:30 to 6:00am. It seems like he should be getting more sleep. Does this sound normal/abnormal to other mothers? He sleeps all night except for one feeding which he pretty much sleeps through anyway. Does this sound like enough? And yes, we do have a very established bedtime routine.
