Has anyone experienced such early teething? Is it possible at such a young age - or am I misdiagnosing? He is irritable, chewing his hands and his blanket and drooling.

I heard it hardens the gums, only making teething more painful in the long run. Is this true?

The newborn is the second child (both are girls) so the family already has all the essentials. It's okay if it's a little impractical or extravagant, since it's a gift from coworkers. I have $70 to spend, some of which should go to a token gift for the 2-year-old so she doesn't feel left out. I'm under extreme time pressure (my boss was supposed to do it but she ran out of time) so it needs to be easy to find---no online specialty stuff. Thanks in advance for any advice!

I put my baby on his back to sleep but he`s started to roll over to his front. He seems very comfortable like this.
Should I put him on his back again or leave him? He now sleeps all night 10pm-7am.

When my daughter- in- law announced that her child would have an Irish name, I looked on a website for Irish baby names and sent her about 12 names of each gender. Cammy was listed in the female list. She now wants the meaning of it, and I can't find it anywhere...Anyone help?

My 9 month old girl does not laugh very much--rarely. It comes out like air. She babbles just fine. When she cries it also sounds hoarse. And she just started spitting up again even though she had quit around 5 months. What's the problem?

My son who will be 8months old tomorrow is already pulling himself to a stand with the help of the couch and other objects....Is that pretty average or he is learning alittle faster? Just curious when other babies were doing that?

My 3 month old daughter had been nursing like a pro until about a week ago, and now all she wants is the bottle. She will drink breast milk or formula out of it, but turns her head and cries terribly when i put her to the breast. I was thinking to try breast shields??? because she acts like she can't find my nipple.

I've been told Jewelry is good, but I haven't had any really good suggestions on specific jewelry. Also I'd be interested in items different than jewelry, since I feel that jewelry may be sort of a common gift, and I'd like to be a little different, or create more of a surprise.

I have found that finding an appropriate place to breastfeed when i'm out shopping is a real pain. i don't want to feed in the toilets. i found that in my local city of Canterbury the Boots store has a specialised mother's room where you could change a nappy or even feed in private. Who thinks that if this were adopted in more towns that more people might choose to breastfeed?
