Newborn & Baby - August 2006

My Dd is 10 mos. old, and I've pumped off and on since her birth. I always have the latch prob when I pump. It's like she's sucking me like the pump does, and the pump doesn't do well. When I don't pump, she latches normally and comfortably. I have an Ameda Purely Yours pump. Any advice? I'm uncomfortable!

She has her walker already since she's 9months old,she's doing fine with it,sometimes she runs around it..coz i bought the kind of walker that is attached to a stationery activity station,she could move 360 degrees around it and i could see stepping her toes..could she really just walk by herself in time w/o me practicing her everyday..as of now,she's like a ballet dancer when i am practicing her (tip toes yet)..thanks for your answers.

Don't you hate when rappers talk about guns and killing people when they have never even own a weapon before?? Dont you hate when they use gunshots in their songs, but you know damn well if they heard it in real life, that they would run behind their bodyguard all scared. Also, in Houston, they (the rappers) talk about drinking cough syrup and "purple sprite" when they know that DJ Screw died from the same thing. Even they are that stupid to drink those things.

I've given him mashed bananas, mashed peaches, applesauce, rice cereal, and cooked carrots. He wants NOTHING to do with any of it. I know they say to keep trying, but how much do you need to try? I will continue to breastfeed him at least until a year, maybe longer, but how do I introduce more to him?

She crawls and sits up on her own, but whene we are outside on the patio we but her in a walker, but she drags her feet. Should we let her just crawl around in the grass?

How do you feel about walking into a mall or another public place and seeing a mother breastfeeding her son or daughter in the middle of a public area? There are people of all ages in that place do you want you son or daughter to see that? I don't agree with it i think they made public/family washrooms for a reason. Does my opinion make sence?

My baby boy is 9 and a half months old and ever since he was about 7 months old, he refuses to eat any jarred baby food. I am concerned because he only likes cheerios and his formula.. Any suggestions as to what I can give him to eat?? I feel like he is not getting enough to eat Please help!!!!

I had my first child last year in oct. my baby was born at 7 months and was stillborn. then specialist who came in said my baby had been dead for at least 2 days. If that was true then my docotr should have know because i had a appt two days before i have given birth i found out the sex of the baby and he told me everything was fine he check the heartbeat butcould not hear one he said everything ws still okay!

Every magazine I have read in the past two months has said "Where is baby Suri? Tom and Katie abusing baby??" I think its plain dumb!So what, Tom and Katie dont want pictures of their baby being sold on the internet, or in magazines?I think Tom and Katie have the right to do that and I think I would too!
