My oldest daughters first word was 'bum'-thanks to her dad saying it every time he changed her diaper
Then with my younger daughter her first word was 'pooh' as in winnie the pooh-a bit too much tv i guess
My son Ethan said 'kitty' -i guess he liked the cats
And my son Quade said 'yum' -he loves food, what can i say?

My daughter's first word was "uh-oh", if you can consider that a word. "Dada" came shortly after.
