ok well i have babysitted before but only babysitted a 1 year old 1 time and it didnt turn out to good...and i dont really know what to do! if he starts cryin what should i do?! am is supposed to hold him the whole time or how do i know if i should lay him down or not!? last time the baby wouldnt stop cryin after i changed his diaper..do u think i did somethin wrong?!? please help!

You need to ask the parents. If you are hired by someone to do a job, you need to do it the way *they* want it done--not a bunch of strangers online.

first,take a deep breath and relax. The baby can sense it if you are nervous. If he has a swing try that or a bouncy seat. Is he hungry when he cries, he may need more to eat. Even as a third time mommy there are times that I just can't figure out what is wrong when my baby cries. Sometimes you have to hold them a lot and sometimes you just have to lay them down and walk away for a few minutes. But the big thing is to remember to breath and not get upset. Enjoy the baby, play, laugh. Good Luck.

Cuddle, play, sing, rock, rub, change diaper, feed, give pacifier. See if there are any Mylocin drops and read the instructions and give it to them. They may have painful gas.

How old is the Baby? Can he/she sit up by self? You probably didn't do anything wrong. Did you try to feed him after?

you should consider taking a babysitting class through red cross at a local hospital. good luck : )
