My daughter is six months old. I am wondering how long I should use the baby detergent for her laundry and when I can start washing her laundry in regular detergent. There is no rush. Just want to know what the best time is. Thanks!

I'm asking cause I bought up a lot of brand name diapers while I was pregnant, and I'm kinda short on cash and I was thinking about trying to return the diapers for a gift card, and then just buy cheaper store brand ones as I need them.

I have a 10 month old, who has had diarhea for the past week. I tried the BRAT diet, that didnt work, so I took her to the doctor. The doctor said to give her strictly pedialyte and yogurt for 24 hours, no formula or anything else. The reason Im asking if anyone has ever heard of this or done it with their own child is because it was a military doctor, and they arent the brightest bulbs in the box if you know what I mean. To me it doesnt sound right, I mean I cant imagine just drinking gatorade all day and yogurt without being extremely hungry and miserable. My insurance does not allow me to see a civilian doctor, and I cannot afford to foot the bill without insurance. Please no rude comments.

Looking for names that may have recently been given to babies of friends and family members. Names would be better if they are short and sweet. Please avoid common internet website names as they are all the same and very old.

Our buddy is a cop and he asked us if our baby would sleep with us in bed. We said "no" as we didn't want her to get use to being in bed with us. Also, my husband sleeps so soundly, he doesn't even know when he has rolled onto me. So I asked our friend why he was asking and he said the week before they got a call from a family where the dad accidentally rolled over on their 2 week old son and the baby died. He assisted in processing the scene and it really impacted him. The family was very upset and the dad couldn't handle what he had done.

Our daughter slept in her pack-n-play for two months in our room before moving into her room, but wasn't sure what other reasons there are to have your newborn/infant sleep in bed with you.

My dd is 7 mths old and was born premie at 35 wks had several problems and was in NICU for 2 wks.Sent home on a home monitor for cardio/respiratory problems. She had MANY brady/apneas.Then went 2 mnths NO bradys at all then 2 wks ago she had 1 every night for a week.Nothing serious & I did not have to intervine but I was worried- her Dr. had told us to return the monitor awhile ago but kept it and just last night she had a major apnea episode! She stopped breathing she was not blue and her heart did not drop but she was not breathing & I had to rub her leg & talk to her to get her breathing.I have NEVER had to intervine with her apneas she always came out on her own.Dr said concerning but not to worry but if I had turned the monitor in I would not known she wasn't breathing then what? Can anyone offer opinion or own experiences w/apnea?Normal or not? Scared mom here.Researched & found that once the episodes stop they should not return but they have and Dr no help w/???s-Healthy otherwise!

I read this is not good for her back while they're still so young. Almost everytime I put her in her bouncer she cries. Pacifiers don't work.
