I'm asking cause I bought up a lot of brand name diapers while I was pregnant, and I'm kinda short on cash and I was thinking about trying to return the diapers for a gift card, and then just buy cheaper store brand ones as I need them.

as long as they are un opened wal mart should take them back without a receipt. if they ask why just tell them that those diapers give your baby a rash. they probably wont take a very large amount back, but Im sure they will take some of them. good luck.

Walmart will not give you cash without a receipt. They will let you exchange something for equal value, or you can pay a difference if the exchanged item is higher in price.

I work for Walmart and it should be OK to return for store credit if you don't have the receipt. Just tell them they aren't the right size or what ever.

No but they'll let you exchange. Sorry! Maybe you can get the cheaper brand plus some groceries!

Walmart won't let you return diapers at all. They consider them personal items along with things like tampons so they won't take them back. I've tried.

If they are not open and you tell them they were a gift, then they would probably give you credit on a gift card.
