I did it because the first two diapers out of the package both leaked! You send them the UPC cut off from the package, the receipt from the store, and one unused diaper. They are supposed to send you back a check for the amount you paid on the receipt plus an extra $1.00 to cover the cost of postage for sending them the unused diaper and everything.

What I got back from them was a check for less than $3! I sent them an email and after waiting two weeks a second note. They claim they never got the first email and they sent me another check for the difference saying that there must have been an error at their refund department.

It was a bit of a hassle for getting my $9 back. For what it's worth, Luvs are made by Procter & Gamble, the same company that makes Pampers. I like Pampers sooo much better. We've used everything- Pampers, Huggies, various store brands. Nothing leaked like the first two Luvs diapers. I gave the rest of the package to a friend who likes them.

I wanted to, because they leaked on my daughter on several occasions. It was the first package I bought, just to try them out (I was in our diaper experimenting phase). So I bought the smallest package. I figured by the time I sent gathered up the receipt, the UPC, and the daiper, burned gas in my car to get to the post office, and paid for postage.....it wouldn't be worth the $7.86 reimbersement. So I never bothered. I use Pampers Baby-Dry now. They have a new version out that has the stretch sides (like cruisers), and they have a super absorbant core. So they work for us! Good luck.
