It annoys me that mothers register. Everyone knows what they need. i never registered, and I got what I wanted, of course I wasn't really picky either. Why do they put things like cribs and strollers, I just think it's tacky. Use the gift cards you get to buy the big things.

My pediatrician told me to add 1tsp of rice cereal to each 2oz of formula i feed my 1month old (9lb boy) to get him more full, and possibly sleep longer. Has anyone give rice cereal to a 1 month old? What were your experiences? I would be adding 2-3tsps per feeding, i want to make sure it doesnt case an issue.

If a mother chooses to use formula over breast milk, is she being a poor mother? Can you compare it to feeding your older child junk food? With the studies that show formula leads to diabetes, obesity and other mental and physical issues, where do we draw the line?

We've tried Huggies Swimmers twice, but both times the diapers leaked before we even got to the pool with our daughter.

We have set a routine and we abide by it. She gets to bed by 9:15 every night after a massage and bath. She still wakes up 3-4 times a night. Anything you can offer will help. Thank you.

My 3 week lil girl was having problems pooping and passing gas with the Similac with Iron so my doctor gave me Good Start supreme Soy. Shes passing gas fine and isnt as fussy but still hasnt pooped since yesterday around 5pm. But shes now getting up every 2 hours to eat instead of every 3-4 hours. Im wondering is that because its easier for her to digest with the dha and ara (found in breastmilk) in it? Shes eating 2 onces and sometimes a lil more each feeding. Shes only been on this new formula for 24 hours. How long should I wait to see if this is working better with her and what signs should I be looking for if its not. Thanks and sorry so many questions!

My baby weighed 6lbs 7 oz when she was born, now she is 5 weeks old and weighs 9lbs 8oz. I don't know if thats too much or not. She eats about 5 ounces every 4 hours and sometimes a little more and she doesn't spit up a lot. All her doctor said she was in 90% range. Am i over feeding my baby? This is my first baby and when she acts hungry, i feed her because i don't want her to starve.

My almost 4 month old has the 3 in 1 Miracles and Milestones by Fisher Price. It was great until she learned how to turn over. When she turns over she get stucks becaue the mat isn't very wide and can't get her other arm from under her and begins to fuss and I have to run to her rescue every single time and it sucks when I'm trying to clean or something.

He won't use a real pacifier and hasn't since birth. Every now and then he will but it's rare. How can I change this? He will use me as one before nap time and before bed time. By the way I am nursing him. I have another question, it's summer and me and my fiancee argue about this but how hot does it have to be in a car before heat stroke is a danger and this is with or without the windows down. What is the danger temp?
