My almost 4 month old has the 3 in 1 Miracles and Milestones by Fisher Price. It was great until she learned how to turn over. When she turns over she get stucks becaue the mat isn't very wide and can't get her other arm from under her and begins to fuss and I have to run to her rescue every single time and it sucks when I'm trying to clean or something.

When my baby was 3 months he starte to roll over and I had the same problem of his getting caught in the playmat. I bought an exersaucer, the best thing ever. He builds great leg strenth while in it.

Once your baby can roll over, the playmat systems become almost dangerous. Maybe she is ready for something taller. Check online at Babys R Us for a big selection. What I did when my child was that age is to take them to the store and see which floor sample they liked the best. As they got older, we spent hours in toy stores just checking out the new toys. It was a cheap and easy adventure for my kids to have a toystore of fun.

Try an exersaucer. We got one for ours once he was about 4 months old, we just had to roll a blanket and put in front of him until his head was stronger. We got an evenflow 2-in-1 and it has a nice round playmat and items for tummy time and as an exersaucer it has additional toys you can buy to switch them out when they get bored.

The best playmates are pretend ones. I am 29 and I have a bunch of them.
