i think the boy might get picked on unless he's particuarly masculine and can deflect that teasing or if you live in an area where names like Sky are more common (for example in my class I had a Zebra Deebra and a Five, literally named, Five)

I like Skyler better than Sky...but you could always call him Sky for short with Skyler.

I think its a wonderful name because you can call him Sky or Sklyer and he wont be made fun of because i've hear weirder names than that ,were pretty funny sounding! So i say go for it GURL!!!!!!!!!!!
