my mum doesn' t let me shower before school, becuase she thinks i'll catch a cold, is this another wives tale?

Is there a good brand of buggy which takes up relatively little floor space and wont be too wide to get on most London buses.

I have two children under 2 (my daughter is about to turn 2, my son is almost 6 weeks old).

I feel like i cant get out of the house, i feel trapped. My daughter is not a great walker so she likes to go in the buggy. At the same time she is a handful when she is not in the buggy. When coming home from anywhere she usually falls asleep too, which will make my life very difficult.

This question is specifically about double/tandem buggies - I dont really want to know about carrying the baby in a sling - I am considering that too.

Is it normal for a newborn's eyes to roll over? somewhat making them look cross eyed? I was told this is normal because they don't have control of their eyes but I wanted to know if any other mother's have experienced this?

Come on! You know you've thought about this. I mean these are 4 very suspiciously-looking, homogenaicly-dressed dudes prancing around to pseudo-pop kiddie rhythms like Spock and Captain Kirk just discovered the Universe's secret cache of Happy Juice!

If your son recruited his neighborhood mates to come dress up and perform one of these Wiggles song and dance routines for you in your living room, wouldn't YOU be just a LITTLE BIT concerned?

I am 13 and have struggled with anxiety and depression for a long time. I've missed a lot of school over the past couple of weeks (long story) and I am so depressed now I can't really do anything - almost like being paralyzed. I tried calling my friends last night to cheer me up but most of them weren't there and my guy friend was too busy playing video games to listen. What can I do to get through this?

My dads job is very dangerous. He isn't a construction worker or anything like that, but its still really dangerous. I told him he needs to quit and find a job that is safer and he wont. It bothers me to know that when he leaves every morning, he is putting himself in danger for a little money. How do I ge him to find another job?

i am 7 weeks tomorrow, and i have been pretty much feeling nauseous all day long for the past 4 days. not extremely sick, just enough to feel like crap. i have tried the crackers and i am not a fan of the taste of ginger although i haven't had gingerale yet. i'll probably be feeling like crap over christmas too, right? blah!

I went to the doctors on Tuesday and found out I was pregnant. On Wednesday I started my period and it was very heavy. I 'passed' something that looked just like a blood clott. Is this a miscarriage or what is going on? Anyone have any advice for me?

I sleep on my stomach, I always have. Since i've been ttc, i've try to stay on my side or back, but I always wake up to find that i've rolled over onto my stomach. Is this going to affect ttc, or harm a possible pregnancy in the early stages? (because obviously once I do get pregnant and begin to grow, it will hurt to sleep on my stomach - so I won't be doing it then). But, early on and ttc is that harmful?

I've just come off the Pill 2 months ago. I had a normal period just like i would have if i were still on it. Now this month...i am late 3 days. I had normal periods before i went on the Pill too. I was on it for about a year. About 2 weeks ago, i started feeling extremely exhausted, it's so hard to stay awake sometimes! I just feel drained right out. My bobs, look a little diefferent, they've gotten a little bigger, and they're sore. The nipple part looks a little darker around and the actual nipple is really pink...? Also i'm having more of a wet dishcharge instead of my period, it's not thick at all. I'm hungry a lot lately too, that's unusual for me. After dinner i NEED something sweet or anything like a dessert afterwards. I eat many little meals a day but i'm not gainging anything from it. Those are some of the symptoms i've been gettin. I've taken a pregnancy test the day of my missed period, it was Negative!

Yesterday, I was asking for those of you who have experience with the Equate (purple cap) hpt to tell me what you thought. Well, last night and this morning I used Fact Plus hpt and both are positive. Not in the 3 minutes I'd like to see and not as 'bright' as I'd like, but deffinately there and less than the ten minute mark and very obvious! I'm getting pretty excited now and just hope that it is for real finally! I have been testing for about 3 weeks now and most of the tests would give a positive but it took more like 20-30 minutes before it would show and very faint. I'm pretty happy with the Fact Plus. Just wanted to share with you all. You have been great!
