I went to the doctors on Tuesday and found out I was pregnant. On Wednesday I started my period and it was very heavy. I 'passed' something that looked just like a blood clott. Is this a miscarriage or what is going on? Anyone have any advice for me?

You really need to go to the ER.

If the doctor did a vaginal check on Tuesday then you can expect a bit of spotting but you typically shouldn't get a period or any heavy bleeding when you're pregnant. You need to get yourself to the ER and find out what's happening.

You shouldnt bleed when pregnant, its a sign of miscarriage.

Go to the ER and get checked.
