Is there a good brand of buggy which takes up relatively little floor space and wont be too wide to get on most London buses.

I have two children under 2 (my daughter is about to turn 2, my son is almost 6 weeks old).

I feel like i cant get out of the house, i feel trapped. My daughter is not a great walker so she likes to go in the buggy. At the same time she is a handful when she is not in the buggy. When coming home from anywhere she usually falls asleep too, which will make my life very difficult.

This question is specifically about double/tandem buggies - I dont really want to know about carrying the baby in a sling - I am considering that too.

This style, so its the same size as a single buggy, would be the best to get on the bus with as its less space :o)

the best buggy on the market is the phil and ted buggy! it is the same size as a single and is suitable from birth! it is very easy to push and light weight.

they are expensive but would be a good investment considering your childrens ages. you can get them on ebay second hand in good condition!

andother option is to get a stroller suitable from bitrh and add a buggy pod! these r like buggy boards but r seats that attach to the side of most buggies! they fold away neatly and compect so if ur elder child wants to walk there is no bulky second seat!

hope this helps
