I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks along in Oct, and one month later I am getting a positive pregnancy test. Can there still be HCG levels in my blood to make this occur? I am also 3 days late.

Test again in a week, but it should be a new pregnancy.

Yes VERY possible you could be preg. again!!! It is not that common that you will be getting a pos. from a miscarriage a month ago. I have had 3 ( they were all back to back) and I quit testing positive about a week later( after miscarriage) ( maybe sooner )

I had one at 5 weeks, 9 weeks, 12 weeks

I had a miscarriage 3 years ago at 5 weeks along in december. I had my period as normal the next month (jan) and then found out i was preg again in feb. sounds very likely that you could be preg as my doc told me after i had a miscarriage it can come up possitive about 2 weeks after so i shouldnt think it would last longer than that. go to your doctor and he shoule be able to give you an examination or arrange a scan. all the best!

I think it is a new pregnancy as well. I had a m/c in Octiber as well and got pregnant again 2 weeks later. I'm now 7 weeks.

after a miscarriage you will be very fertile so the chances of being pregnant are very high, but also you still might have levels of hcg in your blood and urine, wait a while and do another test and fingers crossed you are pregnant again goodluck

no it would not show pregnant unless you were so i would say this is a new pregnancy if your testing positive a month later
