Come on! You know you've thought about this. I mean these are 4 very suspiciously-looking, homogenaicly-dressed dudes prancing around to pseudo-pop kiddie rhythms like Spock and Captain Kirk just discovered the Universe's secret cache of Happy Juice!

If your son recruited his neighborhood mates to come dress up and perform one of these Wiggles song and dance routines for you in your living room, wouldn't YOU be just a LITTLE BIT concerned?

A child watching the Wiggles isn't going to turn them gay. A bunch of men dressed up in goofy outfits singing goofy children's songs is. Just kidding... they simply act in a way that appeals to children... even though it seems gay to you.... and I am pretty sure that most of those guys have children themselves. Money isn't gay, because let me tell ya... money is the driving force behind the Wiggles. They don't care how silly or gay they look when they cash their paycheck.

First of all, what's wrong with gay people? Just because their different than you doesn't make them "bad" or "evil" people.

That being said, it will not turn your child gay. Most scientific studies suggest that gay people are BORN gay; so if these studies are correct, it's not really something you "turn" into... people are just born that way.

This question is immature. Grow up. The Wiggles is a show aimed towards younger children. Plus, children don't pay attention to if the characters in the show look "gay" or not, they watch the show for entertainment. The way the characters act in the show is appealing to little kids.

Sure would. For starters I live in a very "gay" town. Seriously, San Fran is our sister city and we are #2 in gays per capita (or we were a couple years ago anyway). So my kids are "exposed" to homosexuality from the start. Secondly, I don't see a need to shelter it from my kids. They have to learn about various people around them. If they don't they don't know how to function in society. Call me weird but I want my kids to function in society.

Actually, I've never thought of that even remotely b/c I'm a mature adult who knows better than that.
It's a show geared towards young children, the guys are into physical fitness and they make it fun to be active for the kids.

No concerns here. We played a Wiggles CD endlessly in the car when my son was very young. Had fun with it, giggled along with him, sang along with it. No ill-effects here. :)

I love the wiggles!!! and every pre-school age child I know loves them too! Watching the wiggles will not turn any child gay as they grow older, and all of the children that perform with them are their own children. Three of the four wiggles are qualified school teachers which is why they understand what kids want to see, how they learn and have fun!

Let your kids watch the wiggles in peace!!!

No, I wouldn't be concerned. If a child watches Sesame Street they aren't going to turn into an eight foot yellow talking bird, are they?

i used to watch wiggles, gumbi, thomas the tank engine, captain planet, Widget the world water, sesame street, play school and various other kids shows and i am in no way gay.

Scientific Evidence suggests that being gay is caused by hormonal disruption during foetal development, and is infact a genetic flaw, in the person.
