I am 14 weeks pregnant now and so worried. My friend and I had sex and I am now pregnant. I am very happy about this but I am scared because of my friend. Ever since I found out he has changed and is so mean to me now. He calls me things like whore and **** and says the baby isn't his. He also is into alot of drugs and is very verbally abusive to me. He says he is going to take me to court for custody but I really don't want him to have anything to do with the baby now that he has changed so much. He has done some things lately that scare me and I will do anything to protect my baby from being mistreated as well. I haven't said anything to him about this because I am scared of him now. What are my chances of gaining full sole custody of my baby. I feel that this would be the right thing for the child and myself.

I disagree that mother is willing to give that baby up for whatever reason, she gives up all rights to see it.

Donna was my biggest, she was 9lb 15oz & 23 1/2 inches long, she was actually easy to deliver, apart from a small tear, Abbey was my smallest, she was six weeks early, but still weighed 6lb 13oz, the hospital said she could easily have exceeded Donna had she gone full term, well thank god she didnt lol. she was very hard to deliver because she was stressed & they wanted her out quicker than she was coming

My son was born 3 months ago and my boyfriend and I have not had sex yet! I feel like we never have any time to. Our son does not sleep very good at night so we don't get much alone time. I really haven't been in the mood i he hasn't really acted like he is either. I am just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if it's normal and if it will get better?!

She sent me a letter today saying she cries every nite when she goes to bed and wishes she was home. She has been there 8 days and has 5 left. Should I go get her and bring her home or have her tough it out?

I just started watching this girls son who is 3 hes really a sweet kid but his mom. She is just another story. She dropped him off at 4 and told me shed be back at 10 she didnt show up til 11:30 then told me she was going to need me to watch him the next morning at 7a.m so i got up and she never showed i called her and no answer then she calls the next day and says she needs me to watch him for about an hour cause she has to go to court for drug charge..yes i said it drug charges anyways she leaves him here and doesnt come back for 4 hours. I asked her the other day about when she was going ot pay me and said she didnt have change today and shed bring it the next morning she didnt show so i still didnt get money. Today she said she had to go get her check then was online when she was supposed to be getting it. I know she keeps him out all night long cause when they left here at 1130 she kept him out til 440 he cries when he has to leave and says he wants to stay with me.

I am 25 weeks pregnant with a little girl.
Many many many friends and co-workers are GIVING me items.
Free crib, changing table and TONS of clothes.

I just had my dad's co-worker drop off 5 bags of 0-4T clothes, gently used.

My dressers are full, and don't have room to store everything for 4 years.

What can I do? Donate the larger sizes or take to consignment??

My house is only so big.

I have been babysitting the same little boy for over a year now and hes been acting really bad lately.
Today in about a 30 minute time period he
*spilled ketchup all over the floor
*over flowed the tub
*peed all over this bedroom carpet. and then also played in it.. ewww (hes been potty trained for over a year)

I told his mom about him peeing all over and she said yea boys do that, I was like oh ok. she thought it was funny.

Should he be doing all this..
He has done this before where he peed on the couch and I was telling him it was wrong and he shouldn't ever do it and his dad walked in and was very upset and made him go to bed early.

Like what am I suppose to do...
should boys his age be doing this????

I'm 23 and had my first child when I was 21. Before I was pregnant with him my breast size was a 38C, after I had him they went up to a 36D and stayed that way. 6 months later I came out pregnant again after I had my second child my breast got alot smaller then what they were before. I am now a 36B. Why did this happen, I feel so uncomfortable, I don't like them, but my husband does, but I'm not happy with them. I only breastfeed both of my kids for one month but I don't know why they got smaller if I breast fed my son and my daughter the same amount of time.

Apparently there's alot of talk about microwaving formula/breastmilk. It's supposed to radiate the liquid and kill all of the nutrients. I ask how this is possible when microwaves don't use radiation, they use lite waves at high frequencies.

There's also the myth about them cooking from the inside out, but that can be disproven by sticking a big piece of red meat in the micrwave and under cooking it (The outside is cooked and the inside is raw as ever).

Parents: What do you want in a nanny?
So:
Do you want a nanny that does what you tell her to, runs everything by you for your approval, or a nanny that is good at decision making and planning appropriate activities for your kids?

Do you want a nanny that tells you about every time-out or minor issue that occurs throughout the day, or someone who feels competant in her ability to handle minor issues and only discusses issues that are staring to become problematic?
Do you want a nanny that is a "playmate" for your kids, or someone who is more like a third parent?

Do you want a nanny that takes your kids out to all sorts of activities (like swimming, museums, library) , or a nanny that stays in your home with the exception of the nearby park?

Would you care if while the nanny was out with your kids, let's say to go swimming, she stops at the bank or grocery store (short, quick personal errands since she doesn't get a lunch break)?
...And anything else you'd like to add?

anyway, how many of you have gotten pregnant while taking a mini pill?
thank you and please tell your story!

My daughter is almost 9 years old. She usually goes up to bed with me at night and we watch TV or read until we fall asleep. My husband doesn't usually go to bed when I do, and she doesn't bother either one of us. She isn't afraid to sleep in her room at all. If I tell her to go in her own room, she is fine with it, she does. If my husband and I want to watch a movie or hang out alone, she's also fine with that. We just tell her that we don't want company tonight. When she has friends over, she sleeps in her room.
Since we are all OK with it, is this healthy? I have friends who tell us we're crazy. Our sons kinda slept with us alot when they were small too...just not as much as her. They seem to have turned out perfectly normal.
