So I am pregnant and I love the name Kinsley for a girl. What do you think? Also any suggestions for the middle name? I want something short and sweet.

My 13 month old son used to love his baths. Now he stands near the edge of the tub and screams his lungs out until my husband or I are done cleaning him off from his days antics and take him out of the tub. He has bath toys but he ignores them. What are some things my husband and I can try to do to get our son to like his baths again?

My stepdaughter turns 16 in a couple of months. She lives with us 24/7 now - no contact from her mom for over a year :-( Due to situations beyond her control, general shyness and her life situation, she doesn't have a strong circle of friends her age. She's got cousins around her age, but they're family and, even then, they're not really close - hang out at family gatherings, but not outside of them.

I want to do something special for her 16th birthday, anyway. I'm thinking something like skydiving, a spa weekend, rock n roll fantasy camp, a date with Jack White or Johnny Depp ;-)...

We can't really afford anything more than a couple hundred dollars. We're in the Chicago suburbs.

If this were you, if you were about to turn 16 & in a similar situation in your life, what would you want to do to mark the special day?

My baby will nurse for 30-45 minutes on one breast, then she is fussy for an hour. I know she is tired but fights sleep so badly. She is 1 week old today.
I burp her, change her, swaddle her and console her. Even let her cry for a bit. She constantly roots and acts hungry. She is gaining and dr says shes healthy.
This happens almost everytime I feed her.
Is this normal? Any suggestions? She also seems to be getting hiccups after feedings.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Last night I went for a walk and then my lower back started really hurting, it hurt all night and I was having a lot of contractions, they weren't very painful but now I have the back pain, pain on the bones around my vagina and a feeling of crampiness in my pelvis.....I have had contractions for ages and they have been false but this feels different im a lot more achey

For those who had an uncommon name that was difficult to pronounce, do you wish you had a different name? Did you hate your name growing up? Do you hate it now? The reason I ask is because I like a certain girl's name that is difficult to pronounce. It is a Mayan word, actually. Just not sure how a child would feel growing up with a really different name.

His spine locked with mine and the forceps and vaccum extractor tore me so badly
i had a 4th degree episiotomy and a uterine prolapse. I had pain in my va jay-jay for months.Now, I am 36 wks and thisone is posterior !!! its more the thought of being pregnant and all the changes and the fights we get into right now. I think he wont support me during my pregnancy and i love sex so much that i cant imagine not wanting it or nat being able to have it. Not to mention the constant 24/7 attention i dont want to throw my life away for 18+ years. I want to get married and move to the country and live with my husband and me. It seems like i'm not enough for him like he'd love the baby more than me. i just dont know what to do or what to say to him. someone please help.

i just wanted to know even if i am not having contractions and my cervix are soften if that means i am going to go into labor early. becasue all my doctor said is that we have to keep her in for at least 6 more weeks but she didnt say i was going to go into labor or that i need to rest or stay off my feet or anything else sop i am confused becasue soften cervix means delivery and labor are going to start

I haven't gained that much weight. I was 5'7 130 before pregnancy and have only gained 20 lbs. I only have a few more weeks to go. I know my stomach has definitely gotten bigger, but i'm by no means huge or even really big.
