Yes...my daughter is 10 months and has no teeth. I wouldn't worry about it until around 14 months...that is what my pediatrician has told me.

While babies, on average get their first tooth between 5 and 7 months, dentists are not concerned at all unless they do not have the first one before 18 months. So you have nothing to worry about for quite a while. It really isn't unheard of for a baby to not get teeth until they are more than a year old.

My son did not cut his 1st tooth until he was 10 months old. My kids see a pediatric dentist and he says the later they cut their teeth the better. It makes for healthier teeth. They will just lose their baby teeth later than average also.

Yes, it's fine. I have a friend whose baby did not cut a single tooth until he was 14 months old and the doctor said that was okay.

Sure, that is perfectly OK. Some babies don't get their first tooth until they are a year old or older. My grandson, who is 10 weeks old, goes to a pediatrician whose daughter was 14 months old when she got her first tooth.

that is normal some cut really early but some take up to 1 1/2 to 2 years. Nothing to be concerned about.

Yes, its fine! My son cut his first tooth the day after his 1st birthday. He is 15mo. now and has 5 teeth. I guess some babies are just a little slow.

Have you noticed all that drooling--his/her teeth will be coming in shortly. Like everyone else my first was a late-bloomer. I checked daily for that first tooth and started crying when it happened. In the meantime, let him/her chew on teething rings in order to cut those teeth through those gums. When mine were babes, I would put teething rings in the freezer and rotate them as they warmed up--they absolutely loved them. & have an ample supply of teething foods for baby to gnaw on.

my daughter didnt get her first tooth until 10 months now shes 11 months and has 4! its fine. some just take longer then others but once that first one comes they wont stop! try to rub his gums to soften them to help the tooth break through if you can see it under the gum.

you can ask your pediatrition but I think it is normal. My aunt was totally worried because her nine month old grandson had no teeth and little hair it just took the lil guy a while to get them.
