she is 15lbs and eats a few teaspoonfuls of cereal in a bowl by spoon twice a day along with formula. eats great and has digested this cereal well since she was eight weeks old. i know what most pediatricians say to wiat the 4-6 months but this is because their bellies are so small at younger stages and arent ready to digest these types of food. allergies can occur at any time no matter what. not trying to rush just wanted to give her a tast of something else. that cereal seems so yucky flavor wise.

recently i have had a few questions about my son and so far everyone has been helpful. i think my son has been taking my magazines(victorias secret,glamour,vogue)and i keep finding them hidden around the house i found one in the bathroom and thought that i had left it there but i also found another in his room....is this normal behaviour? should i let him look at these? do i want them back?why is he taking them?lol..can any other mothers help me from experience?

A couple of freinds and family said it was fine to give him rice cereal in his bottle. But I am not sure. My son doesn't get full on formula alone. I stilll feed him 6 -8 oz every 2-3 hours. Sometimes he throws up. I burp him every 3 0z. So I know it's not the gas making him throw up. They all say cereal i his bottle will surpress his hunger longer but I dont believe it. I think the baby will burn off the milk just the same as if there was cereal in it. He just eats so much he pukes. I have tried to limit his feedings to 5 oz then he screams because he wants more. Like I said I feed him more and he throws up. What can I do?

I've always carried around handy wipes (you know, those pre-moistened wipes for face and hand use) for my 2.5 YO daughter when we are out and about to clean her up in a pinch. If I don't have any on-hand I'll use a diaper wipe instead. But now I have a 13 month old son with eczema and I'm afraid using a handy wipe might irritate his skin and give him a rash. Does anyone know of any very gentle fragrance-free wipes for that purpose (hands and face) or have any other suggestions? Thanks!

I normally have very rythmetic periods my cycle is about 33 days and it lasts 7 days but for some reason this month I am now 9 days late and I have done 4 pregnancy tests (2 of which were clear blue brand) and they have all shown up negative. I don't feel like I am about to get my period either, and I have been sleepy alot lately. Is there a chance I am pregnant and it is not showing? My ovulation date would have been about 24-28 and I was sexually active, but we were using condoms. Please any advise.

but I still have to go to work tomorrow? The govt. employee who doesn't have to work tomorrow just told me that she has a headache and could I pls. turn the music down a bit. I am 32 weeks pregnant and have been having sex only approximately once or twice a week since i found out that i was pregnant. When we do have sex it doesn't last very long. I'm not satisfied but i don't want to say anything to my partner because he is quite sensitive about it and if i make him worry about it, it only makes him worse. What should i do? My som came early at 36 weeks. My doctor didn't know why but he was almost 8 pounds. And totally healthy. Im pregnant again and my doctor told me to plan on having this baby a month early too just because my son was early. Is that really true? Im paranoid about cot death even now she was 3 two months ago.
The whole overheating thing worries me. The thing is, she has aching legs and the only thing that soothes them is a rather warm hot bottle.
It's safe, can't leak, and the water isn't THAT hot anyway. Is this safe?

i have a two year old little boy and the other day he called my brother, dad because he sees more of him than he does my husband (his father) my husband works away most of the time or is back late at night, when he returns from work he is so tired he just eats and goes to sleep, he never wants to help me bath the kids and get them into bed and spend time with us i wouldnt mind as much but i also have a little girl 2 weeks old and i dont want it to be the same with her. i understand that he is working for us his family but i want him to interact more with his kids.. and ideas what to do??

well i just met my father like in december for the first time .He was away for along time and he got married and had three other kids and when i found that out i was really really hurt. okay so it was good for the first month and he called almost everyday and talked online everynight we went out once a week. When the second month came it was okay so he only told his wife about me but not his mother or other kids and that really really hurt me because he said he was getting around to it. So here is the third month hes not calling or being online anymore. And keeps canceling plans and saying its too cold to come out. Now i began asking questions and not getting full answers.Now i dont want to tell him how i feel im really mad and angry all the time

Our kitchen has zero cabinets. We made a kitchen out of shelves and a portable kitchen island. As you might imagine, everything is exposed and low to the ground...not easy to keep little hands away from dangerous kitchen supplies!......

What are your suggestions for safeguarding our kitchen (block of knives, loose knives in drawer, ceramic plates, etc)? Should we use a baby gate to block off the entrance into the kitchen? Are gates reliable enough? Do you get what you pay for in gates (ie: should we invest in something more expensive?) Do I need to move everything on top of the refrigerator? I hardly can imagine that! Is it unrealistic to say that we will strive to supervise every move our mobile baby makes in the kitchen? HELP! I know the baby is three months from being due, and it won't be for another several months before we REALLY need to worry about this, but it's never too early to begin planning!

bit of a stab in the dark, ive tried a few diffrent pills since giving birth 7 months ago, femodine being the worst as i bled constantly for 2 months before coming off the pill again, i have the choice of going onto ovranette or yasmin, i have been on yasmin in the past but didnt want to go back on it as i assume it is a high dose pill and seems rare for women to be on it..also i experienced hair loss and my periods didnt return after being on it (this could have just been coincidence)is anyone taking ovranette or yasmin and does it suit you?? what pills are good?i know its diffrent for everyone, just interested on what pills work for others and what is the most popular..

I debating if I should go by a test or just wait a little bit longer. I received my period on Jan 14th, and usually my period has been ranging from 28-32 days. I dont have any symptoms at all. Also I haven't been stressing about it either to delay it. I just checked the calendar yesterday and realized that its not here yet.
