and live in it until the kid is ready for school, meanwhile travelling all over?
What do you think the pros and cons of this are?

I dont have to work as my husband makes enough to support the family on his own.
I think our child would learn alot by travelling and seeing the world, well the states and Canada for the most part and maybe some of Mexico, and tropical areas.

My son is not even 3 years old yet, so iit would leave about 3 years to travel. We already own a home, so we do have roots but its boring.

well, "education" for children starts now....not when they are "school age." how about support and setting down some roots in case you need some help ever? do you think it would be best - socially- for your children not to be able to socialize with some "friends".... it seems nomadic to me. some poeple like nomadic lifestyles... i personally think that once you have kids, you need to step up, and set down some roots for the security of your children. you're not single anymore- it's not only about you. A frequently changing address, and distance from the extended family may not be the best thing for them...

Pro: You could travel: CON: if your child is not of school age I don't know what you expect him to learn. The most important thing for a young child to learn is Trust, ABC's, how to write there name, colors, the basic's I am not sure how you expect to spend quality time with the child if you are driving. Much to young for history lessons and when will the child see the father?

I think it would be great im seriously considering this.

you an travel around your country
see all the beautiful things
live near the beautiful things,
leave when ever you want
so much freedom

cons may be
may be a bit crmped after i while..
kids may not like living in a motorhome depending on there age and personality
(i.e teenage girls with paris hilton attitudes ..so many of these girls getting round nowadays! )
pets may be a problem
only one shower

and thats all

It depends on how healthy (mentally and physically) the toddler is. If he is in good health, and depending on the age, the only downfall would be the lack of freedom with the toddler along. BUT, it would be cool to share an experience like that with the kid. Hummmm........your call.

Excellent idea, but with the price of fuel, it could be costly. We are paying AUS$1.45 per litre where I live. It's a rip off.

Quit stealing my ideas.

And I think you should live in a trailer park,

It would be a very fitting place for you.
