recently i have had a few questions about my son and so far everyone has been helpful. i think my son has been taking my magazines(victorias secret,glamour,vogue)and i keep finding them hidden around the house i found one in the bathroom and thought that i had left it there but i also found another in his room....is this normal behaviour? should i let him look at these? do i want them back?why is he taking them?lol..can any other mothers help me from experience?

He probably sees them as girlie magazines. Those models aren't exactly known for dressing modestly.
And you probably *don't* want them back.

The big question is how old is your son? If he is a teen, its completely normal for him to want to explore and these magazine are pretty safe as far as magazines go. You could ask him to return them when he is finished looking at them....this may open the lines of communication between the two of you and then he may not feel the need to hide them, if he knows its ok with you.

It would help if we knew how old he was. But if he is like 10 or older, than yes this is normal. I would rather he look at those than (pornos). Want them back...ummm. I would put them away until you are done then put them where he may have access to them-then you wont need them back. He is taking them to look at the women, why else.

Secretly put some good housekeeping magazine in a playboy cover, when you hear him scream obscenities from the bathroom, you'll know he's taken the bait. He'll never talk to you about it, but he won't steal your magazines either.

He may be looking at scantily clad women. Not such a terrible thing - although you haven't mentioned his age. Better than the spreads I see in Maxim or other men's magazines.

It really depends on how old your son is. Like 12 or older it is normal.

Yeah. But you should include his age for more accuracy. If he is taking them into the bathroom... well you probably know what is going on. But don't sweat it. All guys do it.

He's probably just masturbating to the 'hot and sexy' models on the pages.....nothing to worry about unless you don't want him doing it. Just ask him why he's taking them, or why you're finding them scattered around the house.
