One day I would like to buy my daughter a good pair of shoes.My daughter now12 has gone through endless pairs of shoes because of growing- shoes get too small.Also wondering if its better to buy more expensive sneakers like some parents Or should Istick to my plan and buy a good pair when her feet stop growing?Non expensive brands last the distance.We graduated to womens sizes.Has anyone else got this problem?

i am scared of getting and epidural the thought of a needle going in my back drives me crazy, and i want to be able to feel some of whats going on and have the urge to push. What other types of pain relief are there and where can i get more information about them. I go to the doctor tomorrow and i would like to talk to him about a few different choice. what did you use? Is it better to go with out any pain relief?

OK heres the thing i have a four year old girl. she is potty trained and all and hasnt "wet" herself in almost 5 months straight. then all of a sudden about a week ago she started to pee her self. almost 3 times a day and always when she goes for a nap or goes to sleep. Now we ground her and yell at her every time she wets her self but it isnt helping any. has anyone had this problem or have ideas!!!!

I'm 33 weeks and hoping that she comes at 37 to 39 weeks. My back is aching terribly and I don't get any sleep at night. I'm worried because I hear that with a lot of women pregnant with their first, they deliver later!!

I don't think he likes the feel of them in his mouth. I set one on his tounge and he spit it out and made a funny face. My son refuses to eat them. He is only 8 months old, so it's not necessary that he eats them, but I'm afraid if he doesn't like the texture of them now, then he will not like regular food either when it comes time for that. I've always heard that kids love Cheerios, but he will not put them in his mouth.

Ok, don't get me wrong, I love my little boy to death, but he really is a naughty cookie at times. Well my question goes; is it wrong of me to slap him on his thigh to line him up when he is misbehaving? ie; when changing him he kicks his legs everywhere and screams and cries, so I slap him hard on his thigh. Is he to young for such punishment? I've heard of time out and such, but honestly, my child would not even understand that he has to stay in a corner, unless I lock him in a room, which he would not take well either. Also, I tend to use my voice to line him up when acts up. My last resort is the slap! I must admit my voice is rather thunderous and I can tell my poor baby gets realy scared when I shout at him, but if I don't, he just doesnt listen. Like he wont drink water etc. My husband said something really hurting earlier on, he said I don't love my son, and it really hurts so much. He also said the only reason he doesn't want a divorce is bcoz of our son? Isnt that selfish?

My baby will be 3 months old next week. Is she old enough to put in her own room in her crib right across the hall? I have the movement and sound monitor in her nursery. Also, is she old enough now to put down at night awake to teach her to "self soothe?" I mean I won't let her scream or anything but I would probably let her cry for 5 min, go in and check on her, cry for 7 more check on her and so on until she falls asleep. Any thoughts?

My husband and I are trying to concive and I was wonering which tests do you think are more sensitive and could work earlier than others.
My last cycle began on Dec 22, and i'm not due for another one until the 18th of this month. I may have had some implantation bleeding this morning and feel very full in my uterus ~ can't say crampy but perhaps somewhat of an ache.
I'm not going to test today of course, but just wondered what tests might show a positive earlier than others.
Also, did any of you test before your period was due???

my7 week old son went into hospital last wednesday with bronciolitus, while he was there they stopped me feeding him (im breastfeeding) now that he's out he's being a bit fussy on the breast and crying because hes hungry, makes me feel like i dont have enough milk, even though they provided me with a breast pump to express while he was on nill by mouth.
should i give up ad just put him on the bottle or persiver for as long as possible? i also have some fenugreek here dose it work?

I have been off the pill for about a month and half now, i am supposed to be getting my period sometime this week. By me being off of it, do you think it increases your pain of symptoms, because for the last 11 days i have had sore nipples and breasts, and for the last three days, i have had a sore lower back. Because when i was on the pill i didnt experience these really.
