Whern you are breastfeeding your chance of getting pregnant is lower than usual. And there are special types of birth control that are safe to take when pregnant!

My son was just over 4 months old and I was on the pill when my husband and I found out I was pregnant again. Try not to flip out...although I certainly did! While it's very scary, try to enjoy the prospect of having a newborn again. Remember how special it was the first time around, feeling the movements, watching the baby grow in your tummy, and knowing that baby was yours to love forever? It's hard sometimes, but remind yourself of how wonderful it is becoming a mother...AGAIN! :) And don't let people give you a hard time about it. Sometimes these things happen, despite the best planning! Good luck. I'm now 24 weeks along, and finally adjusting to the idea of two little ones under 14 months! :) God bless you.

My husband's cousin had two kids 10 months apart (no joke). Luckily for her she had a lot of family to help her out and buy her stuff since she wasn't working. If you have the support system in place, then I wouldn't worry. It will be hard for a while but if that is what you want (which I think is great - after all I had two kids twelve years apart) than just go for it. It will be a big sacrifice for a while and you will feel a bit frazzled chasing around three kids, but when they get older it will be better. Sorry I don't have any better advice :)

Mt first daughter was 21 months old when my second daughter was born. Now my second daughter will be 14 months old when this baby is born. I like my kids being close in age and think that it is helpful in baby supplies and things like that. And just for the people out there that don't know, they have BC out there that is safe to use when breastfeeding and that has everything to do with her question. Good luck to you and I hope everything works out for you.

My brother and I are less than a year apart in age and we are best friends. I have daughters who are 13 months apart, my second was born early and they are best friends as well. It is crazy when they are both in diapers and also when you potty train the first one. And of course there is the occasional fights and double the fits as toddlers, but other than that it's great. My girls are best buddies. It's great, I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Listen it all depends where u are in your life right now.Do you really want another baby so soon? Are you going to have the help and support needed to be a mom to a toddler and a newborn? Do you have a good job? Everything matters on you your time.

well i have not but my mother has. she had my brother in dec of of 82 and me in nov.of 83. 11 months apart. she said it was hard and she was not able to keep breastfeeding my brother. she felt to tired to do it. she said it was hard to do all the diapers as well since my brother and i were both in them at the same time. other then that my brother and i always felt loved and to this day we are really close. good luck.

Check with your doctor. If you are-good luck and congrats at the same time. It's going to be rough but hey-you'll have another little baby.
