What happens if you are on the depo provera shot and you get pregnant? I know the shot is very effective but it's still possibe. I was wondering what would happen if you DID get pregnant on the shot

im 31 wks pregnant, and i got pregnant using the shot, i didnt think it could happen, and then i freaked out, but my dr. told me everything should be fine, its like taking your b/c pill without realizing your pregnant

What would happen? You'd be pregnant!! I personally hated depo....too many side effects. Plus I spotted a little bit of blood everyday instead of having periods.

Nothing bad happens to your baby if that what you mean.
My sister in law had one of her kids when she was on it. You just tell your doctor and don't get your next shot. I take a pregnancy test before each shot just to be sure.

then you get pregnant. stop taking th shot. talk to your doctor.
