He's gonna be teething pretty much for the next 2 years or so. It's not be bad all the time like it is when the tooth actually starts to break thru, but his teeth will come in pretty regularly for the next few years.

My daughter is 25 months old and she is still teething. It will take a couple of weeks for the tooth to "cut" through the gums. After that every few weeks or so he will be "cutting" new teeth. The best thing is to give them tylenol for the pain and to rub some Baby Orajel (most effective when done together). A cooled teething ring also does wonders.

My son got his first tooth when he was 6 months. He is 16 months old now and he still doesn't have all of his teeth.

He'll teethe on and off until he is about 2. Congrats on the first tooth! Mine don't get their first tooth until they are about a year old!

honey its just started
i have a 14 month old daughter and she still has only 8 teeth...
They teeth upto 2 years... and it depends from child to child
atleast ur son has started at 6 months, my daughter got her first tooth at 8 months...
So hang in there....

yes... it will take a while. My daughter is 27 months and she's got 16 teeth now... what is that, 12 more to go? haha... it will be a while... every kid is different though...

Until he gets them all in. And that could be into the early toddler years when they get their back molars in.
