my daughter runs a fever and gets a lump with a reddish tint to it on the spot where she gets the shot every time we go and get them (she is 14 months now) Just give your baby some baby Tylenol (0.4 on the dropper) about 30 minutes before he/she goes to get her shots. if you baby gets a lump on the shot site hold a warm washcloth on it for about 10 minutes about every 1-2 hours. those are the only reactions my daughters had so far. Oh and i sure you know but the doses for the Tylenol go up as the baby gains weight i have a chart that my doc gave me if you would like to know for sure how much to give your baby contact me at smurfzoesmama@yahoo.com

My daughter just had her 4 month needles and shes doing great. I gave her tempura 1 hour before the needle, and that night before bed and shes been fine ever since. All kids react different though, if its anything serious, talk to the doctor right away.
