When my youngest was a few months old, an older chinese lady looked at her legs, and told me my next child will be a boy. She said that because my daughter had 2 creases by her knee, this determined the gender of my next child. I've been trying to find information on this and I haven't had any luck. Has anyone heard of this?

I was wondering if you could tell by looking at your abdomen(not the BUMP when you get further along) before you actually knew you were pregnant? I'm waiting two weeks to get a blood test done,but my hpt all come back negative. I'm having all the symptoms,which most were occuring before I even thought about possibly being pregnant. We aren't exactly trying but we're not taking any preventative measures either. So I'm not stressed about it. Anyways,my abdomen looks,if you looks at your hip bones that stick out (for those of you who's do) I can see a line going horizontal across my abdomen,on each side,that including the hip bones,create a backwards looking seven. ? I haven't been working out LOL so they're not muscles. Ok,maybe that is the most random thing ever,and probably nobody will get what I'm talking about. My clothes aren't fitting any tighter,but I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this. Thanks. :)

me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex in oct. (it was my first time and i was on the last day of my period) the next month(nov) after the sex i was expecting to have my period but it came extremely late..the month after (dec.) it didnt come at all ..now im feeling headaches stomach aches fever tiredness having to pee alot dizziness nausciousness sore boobs etc.etc. could i be pregnant? and would it even show up on a home preg. test if i took one because it says it begins to slowly drop detecting after so long...the results wont be soo positive will they? or am i wrong?

He thinks there's some kind of timeframe after birth where if you don't want the baby, you can "return it"; you can take it to a fire station/police station...give it to the hospital, all free and clear. This doesn't sound legal to me. I'm fairly sure there has to be some kind of paper work involved, right?

I'm having my First child and i have To be induced tommrow Friday Jan 5th early in the morning, I'm being induced with Pitocin, I hear that it is the worst with Contractions, I'm determined to use no Medications with the pain is there anyone who did this and were ok, all i hear is horror storys about being induced with pitocin and is there any advice they can give me, I am so nervous and Scared. please help....

i am going to have a baby soon and i finaley removed my nipple rings to give my nipples time to rid the bacteria and let the whiles close, but now im looking at my nipples and the area around the nipple and i relise they are extreamly dry, they are flaking and peeling and i heard of something called lanacain....its kinda expencive, is their something else i can use? and what else should i be doing to be preparing for the nipple suction of death....lol

I am 37 weeks along with my second baby. I have an obsession with ICE. I eat it non stop when I get a soda through a drive through or something. Lately since our ice maker makes too big of pieces, I put a whole bunch of ice in a plastic bag and crush it with a meat tenderizer. I absolutely love it!! I know it must be bad for my teeth but I don't care. I am looking forward to when I am in labor in the hospital and they give me ice chips!! Any women out there have or had this craving during pregnancy? just curious

My daughter is 12 years old and has been "Going out" with the same boy for 7 months. He has called her father and I gay and other kinds of names and he gets mad at her when she shares her pictures with other boys she goes to school with and seems very controlling. I have tried to get her to break up with him but she refuses. What do you think she should do and do you think I am over-reacting? I have a house that my parent are helping me pay it. I cannot work because I have been sick for a while but now my seven year old daughter is complaining that she want to move out. my daughter is 9 y/o and in the 4th grade. school is going to show a film about puberty. parents have the option to opt out but we can't decide if we should let her watch the film and have the discussion in school or wait till she hits puberty. I must add the film which was shown to parents does not talk about sex but more about the growth spurt, breast development, pubic hair and the menstrual cycle.
