That's just creepy. I wouldn't let my younger daughters wear anything but the style of underwear that was made for them wehn I was born.

I would think that parents would be creeped out by the prospect of their kids having sex. There is no way to discourage this behavior when you buy them wh-ore underwear.

I think that the reason maybe because thongs are becoming more and more mainstream. Some parents can no longer remember a time when they didn't wear thongs, so it seems so normal.

None of the people I hang around really dress like that, but I'd be lying if I said there weren't girls at my school who come to school dressed way too inappropriately. I'm 18 and the only time I *ever* wear a thong is when I wear my leggings as pants with a flowy shirt. I know there's seamless underwear but that can only go so far when you're wearing leggings. I don't think that parents would allow their kids to dress like that, I think it's more of a thing where the kids are trying to rebel so they'll do whatever they can to do that. Like the other commentor said, girls can wear revealing clothing and just wear a jacket over it and take it off once they get to school. People are going to do what they want to do and there's nothing we can really do about it. Usually girls who act like that aren't going to change anytime soon so the best you can do is just not stoop to that level and keep being 'mature'..

I have seen thongs for young girls for sale, too. I thought it was wrong then, I think it's wrong now. I even think it's wrong for teenagers to wear them because a 15 year old shouldn't be trying to be sexy or having sex anyway.
I don't understand it. I'm not a religious nut or anything like that, I'm more liberal than anything but children shouldn't be trying to look sexual to other children or to adults. Why do the parents give them money for this type of stuff??? I'm sure they see the thongs when they're doing the laundry & then they act surprised when the daughter gets knocked up at 16. Crazy!

You have an excellent point. I agree with you whole heartedly..children should be children and society today pushes them to be little women and it is just for money. To market everything imaginable to children siince they are litereally the largest consumers in north america. They see bratz with cell phones and mini skirts and what ever else the sleezes who wrote the show can think of and want to be just like them so they pressure their overcomensating busy parents to buy them what they see. They see their peers have slutty clothes to be like britany spears or whoever and want to fit in. It is absolutely discusting that is for sure..but we live in a society where its acceptable to most people. You had very good points and mabye you would be more well recieved if you did not have the whole thing in caps...mabye repost without caps and youd get a better response.

Golly Moses, you are yelling. Just settle down, I agree. First of all I have NEVER heard that child erotica is legal. In fact it is not, and no matter what someone calls it, "erotic art", it would just be a euphemism to justify their pedophilia.

I agree that the kinds of toys we give children are a strong message of what we approve of as right behavior. I also don't like the thong underwear thing. My girls (when they were much littler)
actually thought they looked silly. They call them wedgie-wear, and they know I do not approve. It's packaged hanes-Her Way,
all the way for them.

here here!!!. and plus its unsanitary. if you don't clean them properly. rashes form. bacterial infections come. DID their parents tell them that too? Or probably their parents think its cute too. Parents need need to tell their girls everything that they want to know and not be chicken about it. If the teen girl(s) are looking for information and the parents dont talk to them about it, where are they going to get that sort of information.? Just wait until they get to college and then they'll find all the info they want until its too late.

I hate to say it, but I agree. Children should not wear thongs and skanky clothes, and role models such as the bratz dolls are ridiculous. However, more people will listen to you if you tone down the bad language.

I totally see your point, but coming off like you are really doesn't help matters. Buuut, you're right. Children don't care about panty lines, and they're too young to be flashing any lingerie. It's asking for trouble. I think kids are growing up too fast...let them be kids!

Because they are tarts just like the kids will be when they turn 12, these girls walk around like little tarts and when they get raped they scream, Little girls should look like little girls not tarts.
