Pregnancy & Parenting - 1 January 2007

I've been looking into going back to school for a while now, but I just don't have the nerve to do it. My husband is the bread winner in our family and if I went back to school, I don't want to have to work on top of being a mom and a wife. I have applied for a pell grant, but I haven't heard back about it yet. I still don't know what exactly what I want to do anyway. I guess the basic classes are what scare me the most. Going in to math class and taking tests and all of that. Does anyone have any words of encouragement or any advice for me?

For the past week I have been having a hard time walking. I am still carrying very low..the pressure is unbearable. When I do normal household chores or even just go grocery shopping, I come home and can barely walk. I do my daily stretches.. but nothing helps. Is this normal?

I am still experiencing contractions on and off during the day, I am drinking plenty of water and am currently on high blood pressure medicine. Even though I don't have hight blood pressure. Has anyone experienced this before?

Last month I was supposed to get my period on the 5th, didn't get it until the 20th. I took the first response test on the 5th day missed, and again on the 6th with the morning urine. The 7th day a nurse took a urine test, and then the 10th i took the last first respone, and on the 13th i took a clear blue easy, all negative. I calmed down and the next night as i explained that happend. I was checking like a mad woman and started light bleeding that night. I was heavy with clots for a day and a half and then light bleeding for another 4 or 5 days. I was under a ton stress at the time of suspected ovulation and throughout the month (plane rides, anxiety attacks, travel, transferring..and so on). For some reason i am getting really worried again. I had a prescription for the nuva ring so i picked it up and put it in after my period stopped.Am I thinking too much into this? Is there really any possibilty that i still may be pregnant? I have no desire to be, just looking for peace of mind.

my baby is 4months i give him the recommended amount of formula and he is still hungry some people say i should give him more milk i all ready go through 2 and a half cans of formula a fortnight its pricy would it be more pricey on solids

I've been exhausted for the last 1-2 weeks, I only have energy for about 30 minutes after I eat, then I'm just drained again, so I just keep eating. I'm normally a high energy person. The last time I had sex was about 2-3 weeks ago. I am on Birth Contorol, but I was late with a pill this month. Please only kind opinions, thank you.

Hello. I was just wondering if anyone out there with 9 year olds have experienced heavy duty mood swings? What I mean by that is a horrible mouthy mouth, the "I don't care attitude", deliberately being hateful (picks fights with you about everything). I work in a preschool classroom and have a 4 yr old boy in class that has reoccuring bladder stones. He has passed 2 of them in class now. His mother doesn't think it is an issue and acts like it is not a big deal, but this boy is in exteme pain. His mother even questions if he is just doing it to get to go home, but i know that is not true. I need some advice on what i can tell her about this issue so she will take it seriously. I am at the point where I feel like i might have to report her for neglect. The amount of pain that he goes through is incredible for a young child.

my partner and I lost a baby a year ago to a late miscarriage... we have been trying to get pregnant ever since... we have tried all sorts of ovulation things like calendars and have tried out the tests... we have sex the days i am fertile and nothing is working! is there any positions or foods or something you can do to get pregnant??? it is kind of a silly question but we are looking forward to having a baby soon! thank you!

I am 27 weeks pregnant and i always get these pains on my right side down below my wasteline. I know of round ligament pains, but i have had this pain for about a week straight now. It wont go away! I always had pains in this spot that would usually go away for an hour but this time it won't go away. it makes it hard to sleep, lay down, sit, walk, doing pretty much anything.. Should i be worried about these pains or no? and if its not round ligament pains, what could they be?
*I allso just asked the a question about me gettin cramps so easily.
* FYI, one lady said somehting to me about having sex, i haven't had sex since god knows when so i know thats not the problem.
**And people say to lay on my left side.. i try to but i cant. i always wake up on my tummy?

I got my IUD in April of 2006. I haven't had a period since July is this normal??? I'm worried about being pregnant but at the same time I think i would know by now?? I have some pain at times but not really severe and I feel like I look pregnant but no signs of it besides looking like it. I'm pretty slim and my belly just feels full and I've had a couple of family members ask, but I did take a test in Sept and it was negative?? I got mine at the health dept and I don't trust them because it took them 5 trys to get it in and I almost passed out and I don't have insurance so I can't afford a OBGYN. Any advice or help appreciated.

We've a 3 year old son who has been well mannered and very attached to us. Recently, we'd a baby daughter and for the first time we sent him to a party with our friends where he stayed for 5 to 6 hours. Our friend told us that he was completely engrossed with other kids and never asked for either of us (his dad or mom). When our friend asked him if he missed us he simply said no with not much resistance. Should we be worried about such a behavior? Is there any way to check the emotional well being of our kid? We went to the Rose Parade and had to use one of those disquisting porter potty restrooms along with my 5 year old son. It took us more than 1/2 hour to actually go inside. By the time we went inside we almost could not hold it any longer since we had been wanting to go for so long so we both went inside at the same time to pee. Idid not want him to wait ouside in the middle of all those strangers. He went first then it was my turn. I tried very hard to go without sitting. All of the sudden while going I realized he was staring at me. He was standing on the corner in front of me but apparently he could still see. All I said was to turn aroud but I totally noticed a shocked look on his face. right away I knew he had seen too much. Since this morning he has been very spaced out and is actind indifferent with me. I wouldn't make a big deal but he seems shocked and I don't know how to talk to him about it. He won't even make eye contact with me.
