Pregnancy & Parenting - 1 January 2007

My daughter is almost 2 and i have been a stay at home mom since she was born. I havent spent more than a few hours away from her since her birth and she gets panicky when i do leave her. My parents think i should place her in day care in order for her to get used to me leaving her and to teach her social skills such as playing well with other children. I am expecting my second child in May i know she will probably be jealous for a while. Any advice or recommendations? I dont want her in daycare but if im somehow hobbeling her social development by keeping her with me will try somthing for her. She is around other children quite a bit in play groups etc.

Me and my wife likes to have a baby girl, of course i know the sex of the child does not matter, but i have heard that there is a method to have a baby boy or girl or increase the chance of getting a baby girl greatly, can someone please explain this to me briefly, :) thanks a million people.

My question is, can my wife get pregnant on the second day after her periods have ended? (by having anal sex and ejeculating inside the anus), We wanted to try it out, and we have done this before, and she haven't got pregnant. We use condoms and Drawback method as our usual birth control in vaginal sex, as far as i heard, general day of a womans fertility falls 7 days after her periods ended, please clarify with me that is it possible, my question again is, * Having anal sex, after two days period has ended and ejaculating inside, can get her pregnant? * thanks a million everyone

I am 21 years old. Two months ago I had surgery to have one ovary removed due to tumors. I will have to give up the other in about 1-2 years. I am trying to find the best way to conceive as soon as possible. Any tips would help.

Hello,

I am a health 21 year old and I have been off my contraceptive pill for 4 weeks to start for a family. I had a period straight after coming off the pill and I am due on this week, I no I am been impatient but i am desprate to no if i could be pregnant.

My Husband and I have been having enjoyable sex every other day since coming off the pill and I have recently started to have tender and sore nipples. I did a Pg test yesterday though the result was negative, though this could be due to it been to early to test.

What are my chances in being pregnant? Please advise as it would be my dream to become a mother.

I just lost my child. I gave birth prematurly to my daughter she was 20 weeks early, born alive and well, but too early to save. I almost lost my life as well, in surgury to remove the placenta. I am heartbroken. I am afraid of how my feelings are going to afect my family. i am having a very hard time coping. my children my husband this is changing me. i am sad and feel alone. i feel like no one knows how i feel i just want to let go. am i going to lose my husband by being so hurt over a child he barly knew and i feel like i had a bond with. are my reactions wrong to this. i feel empty inside, i am so confussed. how do i deal with this now. i know u can tell by my rambling i am lost please help

The 1st day of my last menstrual cycle was December 5,2006 and my husband am I have been having unprotected sex every day quite a few times a day since December 9th the last day of my cycle. I was sick with the flu and went to the emergency room here in my city. I had to have an x-ray of my chest which required them giving me a pregnancy test which came back negative. This happened Dec 29, 2006. Can I still be pregnant? Was it too early to tell? Today is Jan 2,2007 and no sign of my cycle.

Can you buy folic acid tablets any where like boots or some where instead of going to the doctors, or is there some type of food i should be eating, because i read that to improve ur chances of getting pregnant you should take folic acid tablets i have been on them before when i thourght i was pregnant but i was not and the nurse gave me them thanx!

At about 7 or 8 weeks, the doctor had me come in for a dating ultrasound.The sonographer was kinda irritable, and seemed like she had something more important to do.She got me in there really fast, and out really fast.She was only looking at how big the fetus is and how much amniotic fluid was in there and then checked to see if there was a heartbeat.She didn't take her time at all.Regardless, I know exactly when the first day of my last period was, and according to that my due date should be May 26th, however she stated that the baby was smaller than that and actually got a tone with me about was I sure when my last period was!She changed my due date back to May 30th.I'm at the end of my 18th week right now.I was so pissed off, that I put the picture in my coat and stormed off and really haven't looked at it much since, because I know that at 20 weeks I will get another U.S.I just looked at it again, and it looks like there is a second baby! Is it possible that she missed something?

I'm not due to start my cycle for another 13 days. I feel like I'm PMS'ing like crazy! My breasts have been very sore for about 3 days now, I had very light spotting (once) which occurred 2 days ago. I'm very sure it seems my cycles are changing and I will start my cycle in a couple days or I'm pregnant. Are there any other conditions besides those that may cause these symptoms?

I was wondering why do people always say that a c-section is the easy way out? Because with a vaginal birth you heal so fast, but with a c-section it takes weeks to heal!
