Not exactly a pregnancy question but oh well. You are saying that about America, you want to take a visit to England! Not that i'm racist or anything but I do see where you are coming from and I think about that sometimes too. I'm sure soon one day we will be the minority in our own country. But then I guess it won't be our country anymore then!!!

Saying that though I would love to move to somewhere like Australia. However I looked into it once and unless you have the correct qualifications, money in the account etc you have got no chance. At least i have a half decent job in Finance and would be able to do a good job if I moved there. Half the people that move to the UK just come here to live off of our benefits and don't even bother looking for a job at all. Which really annoys me. How can they move to where they want to move for without a thing and I am unable to move because i'm not rich and haven't been to uni!

I hope this hasn't offended anyone, I know not all immigrants come to the UK and just bum about, its just the few that do make you look bad and really annoy me!

Personally as an American, I am NOT worried! All of us are immigrants, unless Native American. The world will be overpopulated in about 50 years anyhow, so what's the difference? We truly are the melting pot of the planet, and I love it, I love the diversity, I love the fact that most Americans are not purebred anything. I love being an American (even though our president is a f***ing retard). I love that no matter where you came from, America is probably better than where you were. I love that when an immigrant comes here that they are amazed at the amount of opportunity here. I'm not worried at all. Eventually, if an American gets sick of living here with immigrants, they're going to have two choices: leave and go back to where their ancestors came from, or leave and go to Mexico, because it should pretty vacant in a few years! LOL Are you white, is that why you are worried? Are you worried about being the minority for the first time in history? I'm Bavarian and Native American, and I'm not worried about minority or majority or any of that. Maybe you need to see a counselor.

Our concern should be the influx of illegal immigrants, for a number of reasons, but first because of the laws which are broken by this invasion.

As to immigration, I am a third generation American and am all for legal immigration. I'm not worried about being in a minority. Where I live I am already in a minority and it has been no inconvenience to me at all.

Why is this in the pregnancy sector?
Most Americans have forefathers from the UK or Ireland so why this talk of immigration.
I am trying to get a visa to live in America and am facing nothing but problems, I am a well qualified professional in England and will only be an asset to the USA.
You should not be concerned but be grateful for where you were born and brought up.

No, no. Not all the immigration, by any means. Just the illegal immigration, and just the part that takes place in America. Why would you want us to fret over LEGAL immigration, from Korea to Kyrgyzstan, or from Botswana to Borneo? There aren't enough hours in the day to worry about all that stuff!

Based on where you put your question, in the pregnancy section, can I assume that somebody is immigrating through ... uh, into the world from your belly?

Who is "we" and where do you live? Why does it matter whether you are the majority or minority? What makes this a pregnancy question?

Do you really think pregnancy was the best place to categorize this question?

Are you asking about legal or illegal immigration?
