I am 21 years old. Two months ago I had surgery to have one ovary removed due to tumors. I will have to give up the other in about 1-2 years. I am trying to find the best way to conceive as soon as possible. Any tips would help.

I had to have surgery to remove a dermoid tumor. The other ovary also has a tumor.

First consult your gynecologist and talk honestly on all possible risk of pregnancy (taking into consideration your previous surgery). If the doctor says it is OK, you can get best advise on getting pregnant by your gynecologist.

If you don't mind, why was your ovary removed? I think you have to ask your doctor first. The scarring caused by your surgery may lead you into having ectopic pregnancy. It is when the fertilized egg implants elsewhere instead of where it should be, the uterus. This could be very dangerous to your health. I don't want you getting into that.

Lots and lots of deep penatrive sex, no smoking, drinking, Taking folic acid before during and after conception is a great way to get your body in good health, Also try elevaiting your hips every other day after sex. Good Luck :o)
