Pregnancy & Parenting - 21 November 2006

Well, I got up this morning and my DH was in the process of making coffee. When he opened the lid to the coffee can I could smell it across the room, (kinda made me queasy). Also last Saturday I was sick and feeling lightheaded and I know, tmi, but my pee smells stronger.YUCK. I'm not supposed to start until Sunday. Could I be having these symtoms this early, if indeed, I am pregnant?

my girlfriend was giving me oral sex and i ejaculated into her mouth getting just a little bit on my fingers, about 30 seconds after i swished my hands through water using no soap then about 5 or 10 minutes after i fingered her with the same hand. note it was october and sweatshirt weather, we were outside. you see a month before that she started running in cross country and her period was irregular, she hasnt had her period since (3 months) is she possibly pregnant from me fingering her after i put water on my hands or is she just late because of running and possibly stress? im really worried..thanks

I need some adive. My 2 year old son sollowed 3 pennys so he could have them and his sister couldn't. He complains his belly hurts now. I called his drs offic and got a nurse who said he will be fine with in 24 hrs.
Should i take him to the er or will he be fine? Please help my children have never done this before!

He has always been shy but only with other kids...not adults. To top it off we just moved and he started a new school and now went from one friend to none. I feel so sad for him and don't know what to say to him to help him make friends. He is very smart and well spoken for his age and gets frustrated w/other kids his age.
I put him karate when we got here soemthing that he has wanted to do forever..but still with 6 kids in the class he won't ask their names or talk to them. What can I do to help?

i am 6 days late and have had mild cramping for about a week now on and off, i have frequent urintaion, and today i just noticed that my breasts feel full- they have not grown in size but they just feel full/ heavy, my nipples and arioles are sensitive to the touch. If i am pregnant is it too early to have these signs???

so i did sonography but everything is normal,it says ovaries r normal,etc stuff.now after marriage we have been trying to have baby for 8months but no success till now.can i believe that i am normal becos my sonography reports sadi it or what?help

My son is in 7th grade and continually "forgets" to do homework, prepare for tests, let the dog out, etc. He is brilliant with an incredible memory. He has lost privileges been opportunities to "earn" benefits all to no avail. He lost a jacket at school (somebody stole it) and today lost his iPod. He goes from thing to thing without finishing anything. He can remember dialogue from movies, nearly any event, specific statistics from a sporting football or baseball game, but can't remember to have an assignment notebook signed or to turn in an order form at school or even to brush his teeth and wash his face daily. We are lost. Help!

just got back from doc was measuring 4 weeks big since 28 weeks, and measuring 38+ at 34+, was checked for too much fluid and its perfect. Its not me fat wise because haven't gained too much weight, he said its all baby. Baby was practicing breathing which is great, could the docs be wrong on my due date? Why else is baby so big? I was so happy he was o.k i forgot to ask doc these questions, also if born soon would he be o.k because he is breathing (practicing)?

As I was putting on my bra this morning my 3 year old asked me what it was. I told her it was a bra. She said that she wanted one. I told her that she can wear a bra when her breasts get big like mommies. She said, "but Mommy, your breasts are little". Nice kid, huh. She promptly made up for it by telling me that my stomach is little, too.........(which is isn't!!!).

I read that hcg should double every 48 hours in early pregnancy. At 13dpo mine was 61 and at 16dpo it was 596. This puts me into tripling, not doubling.

I have had nine miscarriages, all with very low hcg numbers, but now i am concerned because the number seems too high!

Any thoughts? Is this normal?

Over a year ago the mother of my 2 son's decided that she did not want to me a mother anymore. She moved far away leaving me as sole care provider for our 3 and 4 year old sons. She recently passed away. She named my youngest son, would not have been my choice. Would I be a bad person if I legally changed his name to my preference?

I've been having a hard time trying to find a store that carries my size in nursing bras. I'm currently a 42 EE, but I know they will just get bigger once my milk comes in, so I wanted to find something maybe a size bigger. I've tried Motherhood Maternity and Walmart, but neither carry my size.

Anyone have any suggestions?

ive gone thru all the search engines ive looked at all the websites and all the answer ive talked to my doctor... everyone has said the same thing... there is no fact that it does damage. just low birthweight and that isnt even proven. i was just wondering if there are moms out there who did it or are doing it and what the outcome is... everyone says look at our parents... they did it in the 70s... but i know weed changes and gets stronger and stuff... i just want some regular opinions from personal experience
