My husband and I got invited to a birthday party for his co-worker's little girl. She's 4 years old. I got her an Anne Geddes doll... is that a good gift? I think this link will work if you wanna see the doll.

By the way, we've never even met the little girl. And I've only met the parents once, my husband knows them better since he works with them.

I'm giving my little cousin a bicycle.. i dont know if there are some cheaper than $150, but u should try some barbie roller blades or something to play with like for example a little kitchen or some collection of dolls... im out of ideas.. i only have boys in my family.. im the only girl so im sorry i cant help u any further.. good luck

It's cute but at 4 not sure she will appreciate the value of it. Girls that age love pretend...being mommy. ANything with cooking (like a play food set) or makeup/dress up they will love. Ask the mother if she is into any charecters like Disney Princess (which I think EVERY little girl is nowadays) or Dora. Then get something with that theme...that will be a hit.
I agree the Anne Geddes doll is beautiful but for a newly 4 y.o. I would wait.

Little girls love Dora the Explorer. My next door neighbor and close friend has a four year old and that is her favorite! You can't go wrong with it. Anne Geddes are cute, I'm sure it will be fine.

the doll is lovely I'm sure she will be very exited! my 4yr old niece loves "my little pony" toys & saddle club horse figurines.hairclips, ribbons & hair accesories are a safe bet for most little girls (if they have longish hair), especially at this age as they have a tendancy to loose them - im sure most mums would apreciate the gift as well because it can get expensive constantly replacing them!.

4yr old girls LOVE dolls. You can't really go wrong with that. Anne Geddes is wonderful, I am sure she will love it. Another 'safe' gift is dress up clothes - they love that, especially princesses.

She will love it! My daughter got one as a gift a couple years ago (she is 9 now) and it is still on her bed. Also, most 4 year old girls are into princesses, dress up, fake jewerly things like that.

It should be perfect, just don`t get her clothes.If I`ve learned anything, it`s that children don`t like clothes. I mean not until they form a sense of style which might not happen until age 8 or 9.

Books! My nieces and nephews love the books I give 'em. Maybe even the Einstein dvd's for kids. Very educational and not very expensive.
