Depends on the amount of time the child spends with his mother and the bonding that has taken place.

If you spend alot of time with her and give her alot of love and affection then she probably views you as a mother figure, someone who is comforting to her. Babies do recognize people who are around them alot and will cling to those they feel most at ease with. If her actual birthmother is not around then she probably does think of you as her mother. If the birthmother is in her life then she probably just thinks of you as a "comfort". Which is a good thing because she knows she is loved.

Its already being studied now definitely. If it have been 2 men, they could integrate the sperm DNA, and implant it right into a donor egg who's own DNA have been bumped off. In women, they could only place the different women DNA into the egg of the 1st lady and implant it in the delivery mom. it relatively is for sure plenty greater complicated and definately not perfected yet yet that's the hardship-unfastened concept and it ought to be available in 20 or so years. besides the undeniable fact that, some drawbacks comprise women could basically have lady toddlers (no Y chromosome) and that i don't be attentive to what 2 Y chromosomes could make... for my area, i'm for it. promptly couples could have the earnings of going to a doctor and getting an embryo implanted in them. Why won't be in a position to gay couples obtain the prospect to have a biologically a hundred% their own newborn? promptly couples have that possibility continuously. of direction, there are nonetheless all those childrens in orphanages that prefer the affection of a determine, be it gay promptly unmarried etc.

The person that takes the most care of them and feels the most love from is the one they most likely look to as a mother. If you have taken care of her like that then it is very possible that she feels that way, or since she is 9 mos. she might think you are the funnest person in the world. And would rather be with you since her mom doesn't play with her like you do.

If you spend more time with the child than their actual mother does then it is possible for the child to think that you are their mother. Anything or anyone that is surrounded by the love of one person for a majority of the time gets attached to that person.

The exact same thing happened with me and my goddaughter.
She and her mother never bonded, it was strange and kind of sad.
But literally from day one, the baby clung to me like I was mom, and would scream when I had to leave for the day.
It's been 7 years and she still prefers me to her mother.

How much time does her mom spend with her? Sometimes when a child spends more time with someone else than anouther person they form a bond with them.
My cousins dad was never involved in his life when he was a baby and when he finally came around my cousin didnt like him because he didnt know who he was.

If you are the one that fed her, nurtured her, cared for her since birth or just after, it is possible. My grandson was like that with me, but now that he is older he is aware of who his mother is, but still clings to me and comes to me first.

Yes. Bonding is to do with security, not genetics.
