My daughters 11, she is usally really happy put her moods been down the past year or so.5 girls in her class have gotten her peirod, and I do her landry so I noticed that for the past year shes been getting discharge.Last week (tuesday) she went to camp, it was sleep away and she got sick, complaining of belly cramps. A nurse checked her out and said that when young girls her age start to feel that it could be a sign that she could get her peirod in a month or so.This week shes also gotten a lot of extra dishcharge, should I be on peirod look out?

I have a part time nanny and I am struggling with what to do when she is here. I don't want to leave her alone with the kids yet. I run a business from home.
I can't decide if I should work out, take a shower, clean, let her clean and I watch the kids...etc.? She only works 4-6 hours a day. It seems like there are so many things I could do, I don't know where to begin or how to organize my new found time!

my baby gets the hiccups after every meal along vomiting he is 11 days old then he always makes faces as if he is gagging and sometimes he vomits while doing this. He currently is on similac advanced formula and I bought the kind that has lower iron because the regular kind seems too rich for him I took him to the pediatrician and he said that the baby is healthy I am very concerned about the excessive hiccups if there is anyone out there who's baby experiences the same problem please let me know what you did to handle it or what was wrong with the baby?

My son is 2 1/2 and just absolutely refuses to say sorry. He hits me or Dad and then when we put him in time out for hitting and then tell him to say sorry he just won't say it. So we return him to time out and still he won't say it.
I undertand that we as parents have to pick and choose our battles but it's not like he willingly says sorry a few times a day for us to let the other times go, he never ever says it.
The only time he will say sorry is pretty much when we bribe him, if we say you can play this or that or have this snack or that snack only if you say sorry first and this feels wrong to me.
At what age did your child say sorry when it was appropriate and how did you get him/her to say it?

My son (he is six years old) hit his head on a tree about three days ago and it was cut pretty bad. We don't have insurance (and don't qualify for Medicad) so I didn't and cannot take him to the hospital. I put butterfly bandaids on it but it's starting to look a pretty red around the wound and white around the outside of the cut. I'm not too sure what to put on it other than hydrogyne poroxide. I"m thinking about getting my friend (she went to nursing school for about a year and a half) put some stitches in. I just don't know what to do?!? Any advice?

He is a year old (and still teething, but pain seems to have nothing to do with it). He sleeps like a little rock untill about 3am and the rest of the night is spent tossing and turning. It doesn't matter if he is in his bed or my bed, went to sleep at 8 or 11, or if i give him tylenol or not. Any suggustions?

okay me and my boyfriend had sex about 5weeks ago and on sunday the 27th of august, i was spotting like pinkish red blood, and i only saw it when i wipped myself.but then after that it stopped and havent seen nothing but clear liquid. and i have irregular periods and and im usually bleeding softly and for the past two weeks i have been not bleeding or spotting, but i have been seing some clear liquid coming out of me, it has no itch, no smeel , no buring, no nothing and my breast have been sore but not really really sore, just sore, its on and off and i want to take a pregnancy test but is it too early and do you think i could be?

I am 8 weeks prego, and in the last 3 weeks i have been extremely nausious and tired. I have been unable to excercise or do much. Gaining 7 pounds so quick is way more than the 2-3 pounds suposed to be gained in the first trimester. Anything i can do about it? I don't want an unhealth child or pregnancy.

Let me start by saying if i am pregnant i am 7 weeks and days. I will get the results today from my blood test. My question is has anyone has mild cramps during early weeks of pregnancy?? No where near the strength of menstral cramps. Just mild aching in the pelvic area???

FYI this is a wanted pregnancy, and a first too.

The man I've been sleeping with had a vasectomy several years ago, He has been childless for 15 years. I've been treated for a urinary tract infection and at the same time took a pregnancy test, the result was negative but I still feel nauseous, my body temp has gone up and I still go to toilet frequently, I'm constantly tired. It's impossible, I can't be pregnant. Most of the time I just think I'm being dumb because he's sterile but what if? Could you want a baby so bad that miracles happens?

I went to the ER and they did lot's of test and ultrasounds. They said everything looked fine and they could not say why I was bleeding, and that it was quite normal! Is this true has anyone else spotted in pregnancy and everything was ok? My husband and I were "together" saturday morning, could that have caused bleeding? We have decided not to have sex until the baby is born after this. I have an appt. with my regular ob today.

last month i ovulated and really felt like my hubby and i had good timing.. but then i got my period.. it was pretty normal not as heavy.. less cramps... well this month i did not ovulate??? and my period should be next week. could i have gotten pregnant last month. lately my boobs have been very itchy and i have gont to the bath room very frequently,,, i heard it is common to bleed in early pregnancy but i thought that ment spotting. let me know what you all think. .

my period was due on the 24th of august it is now the 5th of September and ive still had no period ive done 2 doctors urine tests which came back negative and 3 home tests over last 2 weeks they were all negative too. The only way i can describe this is, its similar to when you dont eat for a while a you feel weak and jelly like well that is how my tummy feels at the moment at 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. Has anyone else had this feeling?
