When you feel that you are old enough to handle the child that may come due to these actions (sex is a way to make kids remember), and when you are also able to handle the emotional problems that go along with it. Is your goal just to be a roll in the hay? Use your head before taking on another persons head. Talk to some people who you can trust about it. We are all different and your question with out knowing age and so on is hard to say. Ask yourself what makes me think I can do this? Give it some time, when you and your partner are ready you will know it.

It comes down to the answer is entirely up to you. Everyone feels they are ready at different points, stages, and ages of their lives. You should however be aware of the risks you take before you do it. It is something you can never take back and you definately want it to be something you'll never regret giving up, especially if the time in your life is not right for you. Hormones and feelings can sometimes over ride the importance of decision making when it comes to sex. Just be safe, I'm sure you'll make the decision that will be right for you!

Old enough that you can get all the facts about STDs and pregnancy - mature enough to discuss these with a partner and old enough to feel like this is right for you at this time in your life.

That's a good start. Talk with a trusted adult who will maintain your confidentiality

Some people shouldn't have sex until they are forty or so... Others should be banded entirely from having any form of sex...

18 is the best. If you have it too early, not only is there risk involved. But a woman's body has a natural cleaning system down there, once you have intercourse too early, it ruins that self cleaning and that is not good. Ask your doctor or any Gyne.

As soon as you and your partner are capable to handle anything that may come from having sex--like a baby.
