Okay, it sounds like a stupid question but my parents are really against my bringing my daughter to meet her uncle. He's in a nursing home now and will not live long. (Long story why they haven't met.) Is there something wrong with bringing a toddler to a nursing home? Would I be irresponsible to expose her to that situation?

I have a monitor its called bebe sounds so you can hear your baby's heart beat but when i tried it i couldn't hear a heart beat and i'm so scared that something might be wrong with my baby but i also heard that those kinda monitors wont pick it up until the 3rd trimester so i don't know i'm really scared and i'm only 11 weeks pregnant

my older sister brough home a b/f that spent the night at our house and they were shareing the same bed and he wet the bed with her in it. and my mom got freaked out, kicked him out, because she had no idea that he was there to begin with, and after she kicked him out she went to wash the covers and one big a.ss pee stain. do u think my mom over reacted. and what adive would i give to my sister, and should she keep dating this bed wetter?

this is all real, my younger sister had a sick day home from school and witnessed it all.

Why are people mean to worried teeange girls and girls and women in general who as questions. They just need some one to talk to why does everyone have to be so damn rude to them. Their scared to go to their parent(s) or who ever the have in ther lives so cut them a little slack.

My wife's 10 year old has been staying at his grandmas over some of the summer holidays. We got him back yesterday as hes back at school in the morning. While he was there, he fed his grandma lies about how I, his step dad, treat him and his brother. now hes home, he has told us that he doesnt want to live with us anymore and wants to live with his paternal grandma, giving no real reason other than "its more fun there".

His grandma has a history of psycotic episodes and drink problems that usually result in violence or suicide attempts.
We've tried to talk and reason with him but we're very worried about how manipulative she is and feel like we have no control.
She has given both boys mobile phones and we think she is using these to influence them while they are at home. She has done this before and knows our feelings on such young children having mobiles.
How do we deal with this, what can we do to make this right without ending up as the bad guys or losing the kids?

Two years ago I was anerexic and ever since i started eating again I KEEP gaining weight I've gained 20 pounds. Like I'm not fat, I just have a gut but now let me get to the point. I want to excersize and i want to eat better but like everytime i try to excersize I'll do it one day then just stop or with eating better I will crave junk food SO BAD. i have my daughter who is 7 years old called samantha, she keeps asking me questons about sex and periods but i feel that she is so young to know about it. I still don't know from where she knew the word sex, maybe when i talked to her elder sister about it.

i had just given birth c-section five days ago. i'm home now. i have blood coming out of my incision everytime i sit, cough, stand, bend etc. the doctor says this is normal.

We had my husband's kids (ages 6 "Suzie" and 11 "John") for six weeks this summer. Mom sent John with a pre-paid cell phone and called him every night on that or on the home phone. Even though Suzie wanted to talk with her mom, Mom never asked or stayed on the phone long enough to talk with her. If we called either the home phone or her cell phone, Mom "didn't have time" to talk to her. Needless to say, Suzie is very upset by this. We don't want to say anything negative about the kids Mom but how do you console a child who doesn't understand why Mom doesn't want to talk with her? My husband tried to talk to his ex about her behavior but she thinks we're "over protective" of our daughter and "don't care" about our son. This is not true! We love both of out children very much but hate to see either one of them hurting for a lack of attention! Does anyone else deal with a less than attentive parent? Any advice in how to console Suzie without putting her mom down would be appreciated!
