Pregnancy & Parenting - 4 September 2006

Conceiving date would be August 30th, 2006 if I took a home pregnancy test one of the early ones would this show up....And if so what would be a good one to take....I read that there are some urine pregnancy tests that can show if your pregnant after 6 days of conceiving....let me know

Im 16 and a lot of my friends are getting pregnant. I counted 6 girls in the last year, and I live in a fairly small town.They all seem very happy, and I was wondering why are none of them upset about being pregnant at such a young age? I know they used protection, but how did so many of them get pregnant? Do you think they did it on purpose? Thanks for answering my question :)

Not the ones that go over the knob.
We have an actual handle, like a lever. My son just walked right outside when my husband went out to take the trash. Scarey!
My older kids go outside to play, and cannot lock the bolt from insde.
Do they make safety covers for lever door handles?

hey slept togther on dec 14th. but she also slept with another man. bu if its his baby she should have the baby on september six. but her due date is sept 11. if she does not have it on sept six does that mean is not his baby.

My baby was born 7lbs 1oz and shes doubled that in 3 months she is breast feed, but still feeding every 3 hours, shes always hungry and would happily be fed all day! I try to limit her feeds but why should i refuse my baby something that she wants!

Hello, wondering what people think my chances are of getting pregnant quickly. I am 28 years old have 5 children. My cycle is very unreliable and messed up. I have tried making love as often as we possibly can (2-3 times a week). I have no idea when i ovulate as I get cramps quite often. I am overweight and suffer acne (unsure if its hormone related). Any thoughts anyone.....

I had her 6 months ago and my blood pressure is still pretty high. Before my pregnancy, my blood pressure was low. I also had gestational diabetes if that makes any difference.

i have taken four preg. test 3 came back faint positive. 2 came back negative. i stat college this week and cant focous and feel really tiered. my bf insists it cant be pregnant because he smokes so his fertility is low!is that true???

My ex is planning to move to sinapore or a foreign coutry to avoid payment. He and I planned this baby but the shock of the pregnancy and impending marriage made him run. He says because Im self employed and earn a good living I can manage, however I have to buy a new house to accomodate and be back at work a week after childbirth to pay for the house etc. I want to claim what I am entitled to he earns a very good living and stay in a family sized house and this is his first child. What will he do to avoid payment and what can I do to ensure he pays, I am intending on employing a lawyer but any advice in the meanwhile.

She knows what to do (did it once or twice already) she just doesn't want to do it. She also doesn't talk much. I have asked her if she has gone and she says no even if she has. I have already had her tested and she is mentally fine, just very stubborn. Anyone have any tricks to get her to go on a regular basis other than no pull up and stay home all day? I have tried all kinds of rewards, the cold alert pull ups, making her sit on the potty all day.....nothing has worked so far. Should I give up and try again in a few weeks?

I just turned 14 and have a terrible relatioship w/ my parents. They belive in discipline,I got harsh punishhments the few times I messed up. Sidetracked friends, coming home late, stuff most teens do once in their lives. Now I have a good head, even in my parents opinion. Actually, I'm doing good or great in everything and feel fine. I dont hide I don't like my parents. I'm polite but without giving them reasons to punish I show this. This doesn't annoy them, they feel like winners cause they have power, punished me, made me suffer. They don't like me, just want to be proud of me without considering if Im happy or not. I like children and work w/ some in volunteering actvities. Saturday there´ll be a small party, those lovely children want to thank the teens who help them. A simple but kinda touching thing I know they have something for me. This is very important to me and my parents. They know about the party, but I wont invite them and may even ask them not to come. Does this hurt

Child services are quick to get a child who is being abused out of a home or being neglected. But why arent mothers arrested for endangering a unborn child because they want to smoke? That child didnt ask to be made yet I see it everyday!! Why cant something be done about these stupid people who are doing this to their kids?!! They have a right to smoke but these children have a right to be healthy!!

When I'm on the phone or talking to someone in person or watching something important he won't be quiet. I tell him to shh, I tell him to watch and listen, I tell him to just be quiet, I tell him to whisper, nothing works. I'm with him alllll the time and when I finally get a chance to talk to an adult person it's very hard because of this. Please help

I have an 11 week old son, I would like to take him swimming but I'm not sure if I should. Is it too early??
I went to the leisure center the other day and asked the lady if there were any classes, she said there wasn't any at the moment but I could take him myself and keep him close to me and put him in gradually.
I'm a bit scared because I've never actually seen babies swimming before, I'm scared of putting him under the water and him drowning or getting water in his nose...
Is it ok to take him swimming?? and how do you do it?

Have any of you taken a pregnancy test (at when you thought you were about 4 weeks past conception) and still got a negative and later it turned out to be positive? If so why do you think it was? I took one at 4 weeks which turned out to be negative and just feel like i am and have numerous symptoms. I took the test at lunchtime after i hadalready been for a wee and had fluid inside me (so maybe it was too diluted and it was just a little wee) also my period wasnt due due to the fact im on the pill and take three packs and then a 7 day break as i suffer with painful periods.

Did anyone expereiance any slight dizziness, in their warly weeks of pregnancy? Maybe it nausea??? ( Sorry first pregnancy if i am indeed pregnamt.) Kinda that on a boat feeling, just without the whole throwing up factor??

If pregnant i am 7 weeks 1 day. I get the results of the blood test tomorrow. ( man waiting sucks. I just had to take it on a holiday weekend!)
