you say you saw your period on the 19th 2004 - 19th of what?
i assume you mean the 19th of December. the *average* woman would have ovulated on the 2nd of January - which means you would have had sex somewhere around the 31stDec-3Jan. you cant tell exactly because sperm can live in you for days.
this would mean your baby was a little early, but babys arent counted as early if its less than 2 weeks. very few of then arrive on the exact day they are supposed to. 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after is just fine.
if you are certian about the date of your period then my calculations are correct. but if you arent sure when your period was then you *could* count back 38 weeks from the day you baby was born & that would tell you when you *may* have gotten pregnant. BUT babys dont arrive when they are supposed to, so the date wouldnt be very accurate at all.
when you got scanned during pregnancy they would have measured your baby & if they thought you were wrong with the 19th december they would have told you & adjusted your babys due date accordingly. these scans are very accurate if carried out before the 20the week of pregnancy, but after that the baby can put on more or less weight so the scan wouldnt be as accurate.
i hope this answers your question.

The average pegnancy is 266 days from conception to birth, or 280 if taken from the date of your last period. But that is on the workings of averages, and also depends on a regular 28 day cycle. Most doctors say and average pregnancy is anything from 39 to 41 weeks. If you have a regular 28 day cycle, you should be fertile from day 11 to 17 depending on ovulation, so anytime around there is a great guess, its not an exact science, so around new year, on these calulations your baby was born early by approx 9 days

December 9, 2004 if this was your due date. You take your due date and subtract 7 days then go forward 3 months.
Your due date is caculated based on the first day of your last period plus 7 days minus of 3 months.
