Well I used to go to a NON SMOKING disco for a while in my early weeks of my pregnancy. I just stayed there sitting relaxed. But could have the excessive sound of a disco harmed my baby? maybe when developing his ears etc. I heard he/she could come deaf. OMG is this true? I'm worried. I did only go twice and didn't stay longer than 1 hr. Didn't drink/smoke.

Was blow drying my hair this morning and i didnt realise the cable was damaged. i accidently ended up touching my stomach with the live wire and ended up giving myself a bit of a shock. Thing is im six months pregnant and im a little worried it may of harmed my baby. Should i give my midwife a ring and ask for a check up or am i just being silly?

Well now I'm 18 weeks pregnant. In my early weeks (5-8wks) After watching a film or something I used to go in an outdoor pub (obviously in a non-smoking area). Later on in my pregnancy I heard that sound in pubs are bad for the baby as it's still developing etc.. Is this true? I only used to stay there for one hour or so. No smoking and no drinking.

I don't know if I am pregnant. I still need to wait and see if i miss my period before I can know if I am pregnant. I think it happened the last day of my last period. On the last day I had sex with my B'friend and he came inside me. I am constantly feeling moody i even dropped my boyfriend. I just sometimes feel that he is not honest with me. I am so scared cause I love him to bits and what if i chase him away with my behaviour.

I don't want my child to grow up without a father and if i carry on like this i will either lose my baby or lose my b'friend.

I don't know if i am freeking out about what the results will be.

Me and my b'friend both have good jobs. I am 21 and he is 24. He is a police officer and i am a executive assistant to ou CEO/Managing Director. I just need to know if i am or not.

Hi all,

Im about 27 weeks pregnant and overweight, i weigh 234 pound. I need to know has anyone gone this far without feeling strong kicks? my tummy is not hard as well.

Again, when did your tummy get hard? can you go on labor with a soft tummy?

Im 18 with 3 good A Levels, and im off to university in a few weeks. Ive been with my boyfriend for over two years and we are deeply in love. About 5 months ago I had a miscarriage. The baby was'nt planned so it was a huge shock for me and my boyfriend, but we were happy. Obviously we were then devistated at what happened. I know how difficult raising a child would be, but i despratly long for a child, as does my boyfriend. I know the idal situation would be married with good career but my heart is telling me that now is the right time for me, and I know my boyfriend feels the same as we have discussed the issue at great length.
