Protection can sometime go wrong - but I will tell you. As a young woman I have come upon this situation myself a couple of times and I found that stress and fear can also keep your period from coming (poor design there, I'd say).
Here is what I have done. Go to the drug store and buy yourself and EPT test (you can do it on the way to school and take it there - they are easy, fast and small enough to fit into your purse or backpack). Once you see it is negative you are likely to have your period within the hour.
The other thing that I can recommend is visualization and intention. Remind yourself that YOU are the creative power in your life and there is no way that you are pregnant. Visualize it, make it real in your mind by clearly imagining it as often as you can for about 3-5 minutes. No desperation, no pleading - it simply can not be true, the Universe would not do that to you. Know it.
Short of seeing a doctor, or having a baby you don't really have a lot of option. If you miss one period, that could just be stress. If you miss 2 periods - run, don't walk, to your folks or the clinic. None of us wants to have an abortion or an unwanted pregnancy screw up their high school career. If you miss 2 periods you either need to decide how you will have the baby and continue with education or make a decision to abort in time enough to do so (you can only do it up to 3 months from your last period date).

First you shouldnt be doing anything, but oh well since you are its not like anything i say will change that, but maybe this scare will make you more considered. If you find out you aren't you can go to a clinic located near you for free and get some free birth control and condoms and by law they cant tell your parents this is what i did when i was a couple years older then you.
Anyway if i was in your situation and couldnt get to the doc or anything, i would just take good care of myself and see if i have any syptoms.
If you dont like that idea, you could talk to a trusted friend or adult which ever could help you and get you to a local clinic which would give you free care even if you didnt have a medical card.
Or, If it has been less then 72 hours since you have had sex last and you think this is when you could have got pregnant you can high tail it to the local clinic (which is free) and get the Plan B pill, which if you are pregnant will terminate any chance of it. And it isnt an abortion pill, because nothing like a human has formed yet.

IF this is true......you are probably pretty scared right now. First, you aren't too young to get pregnant but you now know your too young to be pregnant. But if you do have a menstrual cycle and it is late, you could be. If you haven't missed a period yet, don't know what you mean by something went wrong, then wait till your suppose to have it, if its due in the next couple weeks. If it hasn't come then, you have to tell your folks..After they flip out cause your so young, and they will, be prepared, hopefully they will help you with what you need. You have just learned why birth control is a must if you are going to have sex. If it is a false alarm, REMEMBER how you felt right now and wait till your older!! I hope for you that your not. Have babies when your ready and can take care of them. Get Your Education First!

First off. Boo to the people preaching abstinence. This is not the place. Create your own post. Telling our friend here she's too young to be having sex does not help her in any way. If you're worried about being caught, have one of your friends go to the drugstore and purchase an at home test. Take the test at your friend's house. Don't even bring the box home. If it turns out that you're not pregnant your parents don't need to find the garbage left over from the test. They'd rather not know anything. Take the test so you can know for sure before this gets out of control.

Hey, I'm 13 too. Though I am NOT pregnant I'll try to help you as much as I can. Go to planned parenthood. Get an STD check even if you are not pregnant if you did have sex. Find out if you are pregnant too. Just remember... if you're having sex you should be aware of the reprecussions. Just don't have sex again until you're atleast 26+ and married. Good luck! Hopefully you're not pregnant and Hopefully you don't have AIDS, STDs, or other bad diseases. If you don't you are VERY lucky! Tell you're parents.

Buy a pregnancy test kit from a pharmacy. You don't need to tell anyone until you are sure. If the test shows you're not pregnant, keep quiet and be more careful in future. Or wait until you're a few years older. 13 Is a bit young to be having sex.

Do yourself and your parents a fav. If you think you are ready to be having sex PLEASE GO ON BIRTH CONTROL. Its embarssing to have to talk to your parents about but would you rather be talking to them about you having a baby at 13?
