Stay At Home Moms
Homemakers
Housewives
I personally prefer Stay At Home Mom aka SAHM. Calling myself a homemaker or housewife sounds so derogatory.

I'm really taking a chance here on this one but how about, a stay-at-home mom? Does that ring a bell?

Domestic Goddesses, soccer moms, hockey moms, baseball moms, sleepover supervisors, party organizers, teachers, psychologists, social workers, fund-raisers, field/school/travel supervisors, bus drivers, home-makers, nurses, tailors, coaches, multi-taskers, cooks, cleaners, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, etc. etc. etc. oh and the ones who work from home as well, self-employed.
And since nobody else said it.....S A I N T S ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Just as a sub note, most stay at home moms don't do it because they are rich and they can afford to, they do it to give their kids the best care they can have and to be there for them. We've done without so much but all my kids are bright, happy, do very well in school, are musically inclined, witty and have ambition and lots of good friends. I know that I've done my job right to have well mannered and successful and compassionate children.
