what do you think the average age for your child to know that there is no such thing as santa. and how do you explain that to them. and why have we made up such a silly thing like santa any way. i have 4 kids and my oldest girls are 6 and 8. and i have a feeling it coming soon.

I have a son that is 20 years old and he dont live at home but bug the hell out of me all the time..He is so hateful to me and my daughter, and so disrepectful..He and his girlfriend has a baby, I mostly support the baby..cause he my grand baby and my first...but my son is rude and so disrepectful..Is he got a mental problem or what..One minute he treat you good and if you say something he dont like he go cusing and so rude...he disrepectful to his girlfriend to ...And they was in a car accident and now dont have a car, and think i should do evey thing and him talk to me like a dog..I gave his baby a bath and feed him yesterday and I ask him to not talk so dirty, an he go crazy..told me get the f--- out he dont need me, well he called yesterday, call all the phone this morning, he is going to cause me to have a nerves break down, My husband told me to not answer him and let him find his own way to do things, or walk....I have not answer him...he even call the hospial and give them cus

I'm just about to become a father. Due to a lot of work and total renovation of my appartment, I have had no time to sit down and really think through what it will take for being a good dad during the first couple of months.

I was wondering if some fathers out there had some advice about things you did well or less well during your children's first months.

My son is scheduled to arrive in about 1 week so please don't hesitate to share your experiences right away!

How many 'protective parents' teach daughters self defence from and early age, plus suggest best under my roof policy with boys...

So from a young age learning self defence so by the time a teenager you have your 'buffy the vampire slayer type' Who can kick guys butt and fight dirty and sneaky and the guys know it.

Probably healhty and sport as well.


Plus like putting stabilises on a bike at first, are activiely involved in contraception... ie taking daughter yourselfg to have coils fitted or depro injections or other fail safe contraceptive in place they can't bals up easily as a rookie to old and experienced enough to be trusted to handle it themselves.

ie you the grown up who knows better so you deal with it not the nieve rookie clueless one.

Plus see to it that daughter has condoms ... ie grounded if goes out without the ones YOU brough (ie she does it herself as well fine but YOU make sure)

Make sure she knows all myths and bulshit which are not true etc.

I recently asked a q. about E.C. & was encouraged by the responce & want to give it a go!
I want to give it 100% & ditch diapers all together (well try anyway!), How / where do you e.c. when out, e.g:- walking in the woods, the beach, shopping, friends houses ect...

I've been, noticing, her a lot lately, especially since it's the summer and she doesn't wear much around the house. It's gotten to the point where I've thought about accidentally walking in on her in the shower or something. I would never do anything, and she doesn't know, but for some reason i'm still bothered by it.

How can I not be attracted to her, or what can I do? I mean she's really hot, perfect body, etc.

im a pediatrician i like kids i have 4 kids 3 boys 1 girl bradley-12,charles-8,james-5 and margaret-2 they throw tantrums and the older boys like surfing the web too much like 5 hours a daY! my daughter is yearning for a person to pick her up and change her diaper every time i have lotys of free time for them 16 hours a day! my youngest son throws tantrums naked around the house my husband sleeps at the tv but i guess all is fine except my dfaughter is being harrassed by gangsters outside my house they touch her in her arms and stomach i dont let them to got too close becoz they smoke but they seem eager to touch her all the time im their friend i dont want to hurt their feelings how do i tell them to stop touching my daughter in the tummy and her legs?

My son is almost 9 months old and has had 8 teeth for a few months already. I give him teeny tiny bits of my food, like breads and things and he is SOOO interested in any food I have. I would like to give him bigger pieces to hold on to but I am a first time mom and dont really know when it's appropriate and how not to be scared to death of him choking! When can I give him cooked carrots or banannas without hovering over him scared out of my mind. He does have the chewing response already, but things to tend to hang up in his throat a lot.
