Do not listen to that crackhead Dee Why34. 13 is way too young to have kids, let alone having sex. Lots of kids are doing that now a days, but that doesn't mean it's right.

look mate, i've got two answers for you.
First off, yes it is in todays society to young to be pregnat. why? because we've got generaly long life spans, we've got a modern education system, and so many more things that shape 13 to be to young. It is really not a good idea, one because its illigal(yet again recent thing) and two because 13 year olds are a lot more immature then they used to be (also rather recent, realatively speaking)
Now for the other answer. No age thirteen is not to young to be pregnant. Why? because our bodies are physically able and built to be able to by that age, 13-15 about. And this whole thing about 21 being a "full adult" and such and maybe 23 "with a perfectly steady life" is something i'd rather not express with my hearts full emotion, however, a couple hundred years back, there were no high tech school systems we have now, there were not as many threats, there was common knowledge, a good head on your shoulders and use of what we had. The lack of modern medicins and vaceens credited to a more natural life span of humans, making it only logical, like every other living creature, to reproduce when first able. Even to those religious people like myself and those who are more, shall we say fanatical, the holy virgin mary was pregnant at 14, and even if she wasn't chosen she was getting married and sure enough was gonna have a kid soon anyhow.
All the same, when all is said and done, 13 has become to young to be pregnant and whether we like it or not, no matter who agrees with it or disagrees with it, we cannot change that fact in our lifetime. So if you truely didn't know i hope this enlightens you, if you were joking around god forbid, think carefully next time on what you ask.

Technically no. A girl can get pregnant at 13. Should she? NO! At 13 the body is still developing, so is the mind. Babies that are born to someone that young usually have severe mental retardation, and many physical ailments that are there for life. It is extremely dangerous for a body that is so young to try and carry a child. Alot of girls that have babies at this age cannot carry the baby to term. And the mother ends up with severe reproductive problems. Another thing, a girl at 13 is in no way mentally mature enough to raise a child. She is still growing herself. Not to mention that she can't get a job to support herself or a baby. Would be shunned from friends, family, and strangers alike. At 13 I think it is even too young to be having sex.

Yes. It is possible to get pregnant at that age and yes 13 is way too young.

Why are you asking this question? Do you not know the answer? Do you think that you should be pregnant at age 13? Are you insane? If you are planning to be pregnant at 13, you must need help. I have to tell you that before you graduate from high school, don't even think about being pregnant.

Yes13 is way to young to be pregnant let alone having SEX. You should be worring about school instead of figuring out if you are Pregnant. At age 13 you would be called a baby raising baby. Who would be the one watching this so called baby, yes I'm sure your parents would help but you are the parent now so no more going to the movies with friends no more parties to tend to no more proms.

Most defiantly so. Way too young. A 13 year old is just a child herself. The baby would probably be taken from her if she had one. At thirteen your body is still growing and hasn't fully developed yet. Getting pregnant would mess a thirteen year old's body up.

Do you have a job?
Do you pay rent for your own place, or own a home?
Are you self sufficient?
Can you drive a car, so you can get your baby to it's doctor's appointments?
If you answered YES to all of these, then you MAY be ready.
However, at 13, I'm guessing the answer is NO to all.
You are not ready. Don't even THINK about bringing a child into this world. You are a child yourself.
