Even though I pumped lot from my smaller breast it did not improve, I must add that for the first month after delivery they were equal.

Uncomfortable as it may be, this is usually normal and doesn't indicate anything wrong with your supply/baby's demand. The smaller breast is likely producing milk just like the larger one. What may have happened is the smaller breast may have adjusted more quickly to breastfeeding and is less engorged. If this is the case, the larger breast may decrease in size in the next few weeks as it gets less engorged. (You will still feel "full" right before a feeding, but the breasts just don't look like they swell as much any more.) Or the larger breast may be a better milk-maker. I wouldn't worry about it, unless you are having pain in one breast or the other. If you are still worried, ask your doctor and/or lactation consultant.

Just like most people have one hand or one foot that is slightly larger than the other, most women have breasts that are slightly different sizes.

How about before pregnancy were they equal? Usually the breasts are not exactly the same as anything else is not exactly the same..

Do you or your baby favor one side to the other, that may not help.
