You can't ever really get rid of them but Mederma is the best product on the market for fading and shrinking them. Other than that the only other answer is surgery (yuk!)

Stretch marks are actually deep scars from the break down of collogen in skin, usually do to pregnancy or rapid weight gain. While some creams and lotions may work to smooth the skin, moisturize it, and make the scars slightly more cosmetically appealing, they will not remove them. Retin-A (prescription) cream has been shown to have some beneficial results on stretch marks. Laser surgery is more promising--new techniques in laser treatments can fade or drastically reduce the appearance and coverage of stretch marks. However, the only way to actually get rid of them is through invasive surgery, ie skin removal, usually performed in combination with a tummy tuck.

Without plastic surgery and a tummy tuck there is no way to remove stretch marks completely. But over time they will fade from the purple-pink marks they initially start off as to a faint silvery (in my case since I have fair skin) lines.

Talk of Stretch Mark, i think it is a natural phenomenon that heals naturally cos i have seen someone who has stretch marks and she has applied series of cellulite to no avail. However, an experienced woman now adviced her to stop applying those mosturizer that whenever she starts given birth, that the stretch marks will disappear. Though i am yet to confirm how true this healing will be.

so, in-as-much as there are self induced stretch marks caused by creams chemical we rub on our body, but I believe that the natural stretch mark dissappears with time naturally.

Can't remove them fully.

They will fade in time.

Try using Cocoa Palmers Body Butter for stretch marks.

I use Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula also, I have for years and it works, also for wrinkles, but nothing will remove them totally... you would of had to use this before you got them....there are things on the market now to fade them...look it up in web search and it should tell you.... good luck...

moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. That's all I can tell you. I use Mary Kay firming body lotion...love and smells better than cocoa butter! Also, I moisturized during my whole pregnancy, from 6 weeks until I gave birth...my stretch marks have all but disappeared. :)
